Left me wanting more!

I’ve read all three books in the last two weeks. it’s been a while since a book has gotten me so engulfed in the story the lord and all around everything. so much so I was telling coworkers about the book. That’s how you know. This is a good series.

One Thing I Disliked

This was a good read and an appropriate ending for the series. Unfortunately, while waiting for this to release, I started and finished the “Whispers of Mirrowen” series. Those are my true favorites. I did enjoy this series, and indicated as much in my other reviews. This was good because it was set in current times, and was taken out of that pure fantasy genre, to me, because a lot of what happened in that book I can see happening in today’s environment. The narration was great. The story was a bit scary because of the possibilities it raised for malice from a madman in this current world. The only thing that disappointed me was the death of Agent Brower (?). I just did not feel that his death added to the story, unless one wants more gore. I don’t know why I disliked that particular incident so much. There just wasn’t any point for it. Of course, not much that Jacob did had any real point to it. Overall, I loved the series. I liked that Sukie was a descendant of the Mayan people and that she found her ancestors to be of a much more positive bent. Loved the angels that came down in the end to purge the crazy people and told the others to just go home. They would take care of the issue and would be sure that they got all of the mentally affected people purged from the temples and their surroundings. I think I wanted more from the ending. It seemed to wrap up everything too quickly. I would recommend this series to just about anyone who likes a bit of the fantastical.

Loved this series! I read each book within 48 hours! I couldn't put them down! The vocal Actor WAS INCREDIBLE! MS. Rudd is a national treasure! 💯!

Great characters; engaging suspense; fabulous narration. The whole trilogy is worth the listen. Jeff Wheeler is one of my favorite authors!

Fast paced, lots of action & Great story!

I loved the whole series. He’s been one of my favorite authors for years and I love this new angle.
