Miriam has never felt particularly beautiful, especially because she's always been a bit heavier than other girls her age. What did you love best about Hopeful?
I really loved all the characters. I enjoyed the interaction.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hopeful?
The conclusion for Miriam and Junior.
What about Robynn Rodriguez’s performance did you like?
She did an excellent job with all of the characters.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I felt the emotions of the folks as they went through their trials. I especially enjoyed Miriam and the Byler family.
