Really good!

I was hooked on this story from the get go! I felt like the plot, characters and performance was done so well. I listened in pretty much one sitting because I wanted to know what was going on. This was my first book by this author but I’m really excited to pick up more!

Well narrated

Good story line, with a few twists and not too many stilted tropes.
Very well performed with duet narration. Both voices were good portrayals of the main characters.

Must read or listen

The voice narrators really brought this book to life the entire time I was listening I was completely engaged, waiting for the next chapter. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the way the story fell into place. This is one of those books that you wanna read(listen) for the 1st time over and over again!

Solid Mafia Read

I am a huge mafia romance fan, and this book was a delight to read. A well written suspenseful story with a great plot and characters that you can feel their emotions while you read. Luciano is not a good man, but he is lost in love with Grace even when he thinks she has betrayed him. Grace is on the run from both her family and her husband trying to keep Elli and Matteo safe when she gets dragged back home everything spirals. She is strong, sassy and determined to make those who are out to hurt her, and her family pay. Luciano is protective but wants to get to the bottom of what's going on. This book will grab your attention and you won't be able to put it down. I listened to it on Audible and it was fantastic these narrators were new to me, and I would definitely purchase a book that they have done again. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series.

Absolutely Fantastic

Truly loved both the main characters.
There was no angst or cheating but plenty of drama. Epilogue only brought you 1 year into their and a HEA. Great narrators. Will definitely continue with the series.

This book was so good. I am loving the Belles & Mobsters series. I listened to Nico and Bianca's story in book 2 first. Even though Luciano was crazy about Grace, he didn't trust her and did something really stupid that messed up their relationship. Grace ends up escaping with her friend. They become really good at money laundering and gets hired by Luciano. He has given Ghost some jobs but does not know it is actually Grace. Unfortunately, they are found in Europe by Luciano and brought back after three years. Luciano's father was great as was Grace's son. Lots of secrets in her family. Grace's grandmother was a total b!tch to the extreme who wanted to sell her to one of the King men. She made you absolutely hate her and only wish for the worst to happen to her. Luciano and his home boys turned out to be great. Ella was a good addition to the story. I cannot wait to listen to Cassio's story. Lilly Drake and Walker Williams did a great job with the narration.

OMG!!! I love this book! Love—love—love this new series! This is NO damsel in distress story!!

LOVE this one! It’s a perfect one for a new series as well as an amazing mafia book. It is full of action, action, action and drama..secrets and sizzling hot scenes. The characters are plentiful, diabolical and entertaining. I loved following along with each one of them. Their personalities changed as the story progresses forward. Luciano is strong, possessive and unforgiving. I loved watching him try to navigate his feelings for his wife. She is no wallflower and I loved every second of her screen time never knowing what she was going to do next!

One if my favorite things are the secondary characters. I enjoyed meeting all of Luciano’s friends as well as his father. His friends were interesting and I can not wait for their stories. His father is just a kind old soul and was a wonderful addition to the story.

This is a new to me author and I really like the writing style and all the characters. I will keep my eye out for more! I did listen to this on audio. Walker Williams and Lilly Drake did the narration. Walker Williams is quickly becoming a favorite. Lilly Drake is a new to me narrator and she did a wonderful job as well. Both are easy to listen to and I look forward to more from them.

Really Enjoyed This One 5 ⭐️

Luciano and Grace's story was so good! The hate and the love they have for each other is so incredible that you are there feeling everything with them. I was on an emotional rollercoaster with this story so much.
Luciano’s father is one of the best characters I really liked him. I enjoyed this book so much. I highly recommend it.

Luciano

Luciano is the first book in the Belles & Mobsters series. This book is told from dual points of view from Luciano and Grace. This book starts off a few years before the main story. Luciano and Grace are married. Something happens and Grace escapes with nothing to her name.

Now a couple of years later Grace is living her life in hiding. Luciano is doing whatever he can to find his missing wife. Once he finds her, she will not go willingly. She used to bow to him, and now she fights at every turn.

As Luciano and Grace are working on their new life, Grace is trying to end the marriage, and Luciano won't let her go, we find out someone else is after Grace. Luciano will do whatever he has to keep her safe.

So much happens in this book, and I really enjoyed it. Can Grace keep someone close to her safe? Can she forgive Luciano for how he treated her before?

I liked these characters, and am excited to keep listening to the series.
