Interesting angle for Ruth Ware

Love both Ruth Ware and Imogen Church (narrator) always, but do have a few comments. First, the book was a bit of a slow starter, but be patient, it gets there in the end. And second, I’m sorry Imogen, but the word is INSULIN, not inshulin. After about 8 hours it started to get on my very last nerve. Otherwise, great book.

My favorite mystery author and she did it again! I love the combo of author/narrator every time. When does your next book come out Ruth Ware??? Imogen Church could read the toothpaste box to me and it would sound interesting 😊

Modern premise

It’s fine. A fun summer read. I wouldn’t have purchased if I had paid attention to the narrator being Imogen Church, though. I simply do not like her simpering voice. And in this book the first person sometimes changed between female characters and her acting was so similar for both that it was very confusing and I had to keep going back to see whose voice it was.

Singular and absolutely riveting

Ruth Ware has done it again, but even better! I adore this genre and its classic tropes, but this book featured a truly original plot line, fascinating, multidimensional characters, and SMART and socially poignant themes. Do not miss this book!!

One Perfect Book

I am ruined for other suspense/thrillers for a while. The story was incredibly well crafted and taut with excitement.
The characters felt like real people, that I actually cared if they would fly or die.
The group dynamics of the people living in the book also contributed to story so addicting, that I listened when I wasn’t sleeping or forced to participate in life.
Performance was excellent as well.
My favorite Ruth Ware thus far. Brava!

Suspenseful but not as twisty

Another suspenseful edge-of-your-seat story with great characters. The only reason not 5 stars is that the ending drags on. Not as twisty as her others. Love Imogen Church!

Unexpected and Exceptional

All I had to see was Ruth Ware and I preordered immediately. While I had zero interest in anything to do with a reality tv story, I knew my main lady wouldn’t let me down.

And she did not.

No spoilers but worth the read or listen. And Imogen Church is fantastic as always.

Another great Ruth Ware!!

Great characters,great plot, a classic Ruth Ware! She’s the queen of mystery, with just a touch of suspense. Great 2 day read!! Kudos Ruth for another great book!

This was classic, fabulous Ruth Ware! I have been a fan of hers since her first book and eagerly wait for her book to come out every year. This one did not disappoint! Truly one of her best
