This Book Needs More Attention!
Investing the time to understand racial trauma is not just for professionals in the mental health field but for anyone who seeks to contextualize and heal the distressing aftereffects of intrapsychic racial conflicts that occur at the intersections of everyday social engagement within their organizations, communities, and personal lives.
Sometimes, it is difficult to observe the effects of our efforts, especially when recognition and appreciation do not adequately reflect the significance of our contributions in a time-appropriate manner. With that said, the marks of our impressions are divinely noted, and our influences will continue to endure.

Healing and informative
Putting a condition, naming, is truly powerful. My eyes weren’t truly opened until the George Floyd murder to the grooming and invalidating forces society subjects people of color to on a daily basis. Reading this book can be a step in the healing process of us ‘woke’ survivors
