The Clockwork City is the first novel in the Lady Georgia Brunel Mysteries set in the Magnificent Devices steampunk world. Though the books can be listened to as standalones, there are threads of love and family running through them all. No strong language, just a very proper kiss or two and a satisfying solution. Enjoy!

Delightful and satisfying
A wonderfully written exemplar of the steampunk genre. Shelley Adina never fails to deliver an entertaining and compelling read. Her characters are rounded; the ingenuity of her engineers and tinkers unparalleled; her heroes and heroines deliver a satisfying blend of science, heart, spirit, and honour; and the chickens are a delightful recurring trope.

Interesting story, poor narration
The narrator’s performance made it very difficult to follow the plot line. She takes long pauses between sentences and the momentum of the story suffers. I’ve enjoyed every Shelly Adina book I’ve listened to which makes this one even more frustrating.
