This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Very much dislike the narrator
If you could sum up The Preacher's Daughter in three words, what would they be?
What did you like best about this story?
What didn’t you like about Aimee Lilly’s performance?
Aimee's choice to use a Dutch accent was EXTREMELY distracting from this work.
If you could rename The Preacher's Daughter, what would you call it?
Any additional comments?
The book is very good, but Aimee chooses to use a "Dutch" accent in the reading of this series which is so distracting that I have to force myself to read the book. I have already read 5 of Beverly Lewis's series. I would consider this a strong deterrant to this particular series.

Wondered why it was so short!
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I love beverly lewis books. I didn't realize that I was purchasing an abridged book and not the original book. No wonder it was only 8.00. And the woman reading the book sounded like an older russian lady instead of a young Amish girl. I see that she wasn't used again in other Beverly Lewis books, thank goodness!
Has The Preacher's Daughter turned you off from other books in this genre?

How did the narrator detract from the book?
She sounded too old and Not Amish, but Russian
