narrator mixes up characters

Narrator does a poor job voicing the various characters. In particular, shedoes appear to know that Serebryakov is Tanya adjutant giving the later a low male voice.

Voices

I miss the different voices for the different characters of the previous books. Tanya doesn’t sound like herself despite the narrator being her voice actress.

I enjoyed the voice actor from the previous books not this. one something was off with this voice actor it just Is same right.

First narrator was great. Second was good. This one bad.

All in the title. This narrator change has hurt this volume horrendously. The narrator is plodding pace, combined with the authors regressions into circular pondering on a previously covered subjects and makes this one a difficult listen.

Good story,Narrator need improvement

Narrator had hard time changing from one to others.
She had 1-2second of muddled voice when doing character transitioning in the 1st half so it hard to tell who is who.
this problem getting better though in the 2nd half.

Publisher deserves a tax credit for this narrator

I love this story but the narration made it impossible to finish. Not 10 minutes in and there are 5 glaring mispronunciations which I presume continue throughout the whole novel. The cadence is so lousy I had to increase the speed by 10% just to make it bearable. Will be writing the publisher and begging them to choose a different narrator for future installments.

as in the headlines, changing the narrator midway through the series is a bad move, the voice intonation changes every so often by several characters was an interesting mental exercise to figure out who the hell speaking

Great story but the new narrator didn't land the fall.

The story as always is amazing and one of my first favorite series on audible. I mean no offense to the narrator but they didn't manage to capture any of the characters. You can look to anyone else's review to see more in depth opinions.

tragic reading

no accents, there are three male voices used and vischa sounds like a 40 yo woman or a man because reader kept messing up voices

No offense to the narrator but…

The narrator isn’t at fault here. She could be a better fit on other titles but not this one. Whoever did the voice direction may not have understood the work. But then again it’s the producer who puts the team together but I don’t blame them either. Whoever had the bright idea to shuffle around people for this project is at fault. Hopefully next volume we get the previous narrator or the original voice actress.

Nonetheless I still like the story and that made listening to this bearable. I had to speed up the audio to 1.2x since the reading is too slow for me.
