One of My Favorites!

Rosie and Ford stole my heart. They had me laughing, blushing, and swooning. This book is so good, and the banter between these two is off the charts. The chemistry is something amazing, too.
Ford is not your typical man you read about, and I loved that about him. The overthinking man with his guard up will have you falling in love with him.

I loved this book from the first chapter until the last, and I still want more of these two. They may be my favorite couple that I have read from Elsie.

When reading this book, I knew I would love this new world that has been created and will look forward to the next book.

If you are a fan of audio, you need to listen to this one. It will have you all in your feelings.

This might be my favorite Elsie book...

Ford is back on Rose Hill to set up his brand new recording studio. He's just been named "the world's hottest billionaire" (to his chagrin and utter delight of his best friend West) and he's fed up with being "infamous". Being "Junior" to a Ford Senior who's a rockstar has taken its toll. He thinks he's in for a quiet time but the Universe says “yeah, no!" and sends him a 12-year-old daughter  (trust Elsie to use this trope perfectly) and... Rosie.  His best friend's little sister. His little nemesis. The one he's been pining for since he was a teenager. She's back in Rose Hill and she needs a job. He's never said no to her. He's not about to start now...
I thought I was ready for Ford when he made appearances in the Chestnut Springs series but I was not. So not. If you love a pining hero, who can banter like a pro and who can dirty talk you into heading to confession, you've got Ford. And Rosie couldn't be a more perfect match for him. Frenemies since their early teens, they can bicker and banter like no one and watching them is absolute fun. He's not your run-of-the-mill single dad and watching him fumble his way into fatherhood is a joy. Rosie is sassy, funny, loving and kind of adorable and you root for them from the start. I was so into their story that I pressed play and only stopped when I was done!
The audiobook is narrated dual style by two giants: Vanessa Edwin and Zachary Webber. Vanessa is perfection as the sassy yet vulnerable Rosie. Zachary can melt your heart when you give him a hero like Ford. He'll make you laugh, swoon and root for the man pining for the woman he's always loved. You also go "awww" with his Daddy Ford (in a fatherly way, people! ). It's my favorite Elsie. A million stars! 

another elsie silver man to love!

this book had the best childhood frenemies + secret pining vibes with endless banter and tension 😮‍💨 ford grant the man that you are 🧎🏼‍♀️ his awkwardness that manifests into being feisty & sarcastic was so entertaining and relatable. he had it sooo bad for rosie, and i loved getting the little flashbacks of their earlier years together through the diary entries.

the audiobook was such a good time, it’s narrated by zachary webber and vanessa edwin, two of my favs! they brought these characters to life so well.

laugh out loud, sexy, sweet

this is one of my new favorite books. it had me laughing out loud, which is hard to do. it was so sweet. everyone's relationships were so great. super sexy too. dang Ford can dirty talk. loved all of the side characters. would love a book on West, which I'm sure is coming. highly recommend. it's a slow burn and when things get spicy, it has a big effect. amazing book.

My new favorite Elsie Silver book!

I loved everything about this book. The narrators were fantastic.The story was everything I hoped for! Ford Grant jr. was 🥵… if you loved Cade you’ll love Ford. Willa makes a brief cameo and ahh it was just so good. Rosie is wild and crazy and everything you want in a FMC. Can’t recommend this book enough!

Devoured this book!!

Ford is my new favorite!! Just when I thought Daddy Cade and Theo couldn’t be topped! Addicting story—can’t wait to see what’s next for Rose Hill! Narration was perfection!!

Elsie Silver, you romance master you! Another fantastic, fun, heartfelt, and addicting read. Ford and Rosie are absolutely a perfect match and the addition of Cora just kept me smiling. Your characters are so easy to love and that will keep me coming back.

Elsie’s best book yet!

Elsie really blew this out of the water. I’ve loved every book she’s written, but man. Ford and Rosie are the most perfect couple. The endless support, protection, and love. There’s something to be said about healthy familial relationships and the support that provides in romantic relationships. I loved seeing Willa again, too! Everything about this was perfection, down to the narrators! Zachary Webber and Vanessa Edwin were the best possible choices. I just loved this so much!

Loved it!

A sweet story with the right amount of pining and spice. A few twists and a great visit by Ford’s sister. So fun to characters return. Brothers best friend, he falls first, friends to true love, HEA.

Small town romance?

I enjoyed this a lot for what it was. it was a cute little romance. I'm not a fan of the billionaire trope, but I still enjoyed it.
