It was great, but I wanted more romance 😢
I loved the concept of the story, although I must admit I was slightly disappointed with the ending. It felt rushed, even for a novella. There was very little space for romance. ☹️
Nevertheless, I cannot deny the sheer brilliance of the writing, which is a trademark of Abby Jimenez's works. The dual narration by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt was nothing short of perfection.

Please write the rest of this book, Abby Jimenez!
My favorite thing about Abby Jimenez’s books is that they capture your attention right from the beginning. There’s no ramp up period—I’m hooked from the start. Her characters are so relatable and I feel connected with them right away, even though this audiobook short story was only an hour long start to finish! I was so bummed when this short story ended, and I’m begging Abby Jimenez to write the rest of this book!

I want more!!!
Abby did it again!! This story hit home on a deeply personal level. I loved it and really wished for more of the story! I loved the humor and how developed the characters were for such a short story!

This was a really cute story! It’s amazing how people can come to you in the most amazing ways.
The way John and Holly meet is by accident, but then it seems like it’s designed. There’s loss in this book, but there’s also finding a new life. This was a really good, short book

The Perfect February Listen!
This short is 61 pages long and a 1 hour and 17 minutes audio, narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber. This is part of “The Improbable Meet-Cute” series, which is a series of romantic shorts about finding love when and where you least expect it. Given the month of Saint Valentine, I decided to get on the romance bandwagon.
Jimenez uses narrator Zachary Webber often for her novels. I just love his voice. It’s perfect for her male characters.
For a romance short, this satisfied all my requirements: witty, clever, likeable characters.
