The hit Audible Original series from executive producers of The Walking Dead and the writer of Pacific Rim returns for its highly anticipated second season.

Six months have passed since the Vampire Queen fell silent, and the world balances on a knife’s edge. Rejoin the courageous Dunraven sisters, Darcy and Hope, as they navigate the vampire apocalypse in a sunless, endless winter that grows deadlier with each passing day. Brace yourself for a frigid realm of sacred daggers, mighty swords, secret seaside caves, unthinkable human blood farms, and a superpowered vampire villain on the hunt. Will Darcy emerge from hiding to save her sister? Will Hope venture from the castle refuge and find Darcy first? When all paths converge, everyone in Hope and Darcy’s orbit is in mortal danger, including the sisters themselves.

Dare to listen in the dark again as this thrilling saga expands to new lands, new loves, new weapons, and new warriors. Presented in Dolby Atmos spatial audio, the second season of Impact Winter is designed to haunt you like never before. Hear your heart stop.

This was excellent! The storyline picks up where book 1 leaves off.The love interests play a big part in the interactions of the 'people',as in real life. Narration by the various narrators was spot on.

I HATE THE MAKEOUT AND EATING SCENES! I can’t stand that there’s not a novelization of this.

Amazing story

This is like listening to an HBO series. The sound effects build mood and support the narrative without being distracting. None of the campy effects typical of graphic audio. The full cast knocks it out of the park. I had none of my usual struggle to suspend disbelief. Enjoy!

Phenomenal acting and production

For me, the story was not always great, but in totality (especially how brief this was) I feel it was definitely worthwhile. No regerts. The twist has made this good for me. Everything is kind of just hanging there now - I'm still marinating in the ending. I'm hoping not to be disappointed in the finale, but I'll have to wait and see how this all unfolds later. Bravo to the author and to all the voice actors that brought it home.

Twist

The story took a few twists and turns, none unexpected and the cast is still doing top notch job. My only complaint is that in a few parts, the music/noise/ambient sound in the story, overpowered the dialogue and it was extremely hard to hear what was being said. Besides that, another great installment from the people who brought you the Walking Dead.

Second part almost as good as the first

it's was a fun story in the beginning, but by the end it really fell flat. I'd continue to listen to next season, hoping for a little more though.

great effects, voice acting. and clarity in sound.

The cast was great, but the end of the story was lack luster and predictable.
