Enjoyable series

This is the 3rd eldest Bailey siblings’ story. Brooklyn was planning ‘the wedding of the century’ during book 1....much to her family’s consternation. No one really liked her fiancé but they put up with the guy because Brooklyn loved him. Then he breaks up with her on the day of her wedding!! Jerk! While Brooklyn is having a meltdown at her new apartment, she hits her new neighbor in the head with a book. Wyatt Whittmoore is in Lake Starlight to review the operations of the resort that his family just purchased...but he’s doing it incognito. He didn’t expect to be welcomed to the small town with a book to the head but that’s how he meets his neighbor. The pair becomes friends when he keeps Brooklyn’s secret that she didn’t go on her honeymoon trip but stayed home licking her wounds. Then he learns that Brooklyn also works in housekeeping at the resort. Over the next few weeks, Wyatt evaluates the resort while getting to know Brooklyn.
