Publisher's summary

College parties, beer, and one-night stands - that was my life.

Now, I hunt down criminals, ethically or not, but if no one's asking, then I'm not telling. Drinking and women are still included, although I can't seem to forget the girl who almost gave me her virginity. She would've until I realized she was too young, and I wasn't looking to get thrown into jail.

In a twist of fate, we're reunited, except she's no longer underage...but she's still equally off-limits. After ignoring her relentless advances, she starts to wear me down. I only have so much willpower when she's around, running her smart mouth and showing off her impeccable dance moves.

Just when my restraint starts to crumble, my poor choices finally catch up with me, putting us both in danger.

There’s no easy way to explain why I betray her, but I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe - even if it means breaking her heart.

Liam & Madelyn belong together

The heartbreak is real in Always Mine! The angst, longing and love are so vivid you feel it in your bones. It's so obvious Liam and Madelyn belong together if that man would just get his head out of his butt and do right by her. I was extremely frustrated with Liam dragging her along when it's obvious he's in love with her. I get he's trying to protect her but she deserves so much more than he's giving her. I'm praying part 2 sees him becoming the man she deserves. Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell do a phenomenal job narrating.

loved it

I loved Always Mine. Liam and Maddie are made for each other. If only Liam hadn't waited so long to be with her then maybe there wouldn't be such a mess.

Doesn't live up to expectations

I loved the first 4 books of this series and am seriously disappointed with this one. Although I'm more than 7-hours in, I'm really struggling to get through this one due to the utter STUPIDITY of the main characters. Any person who survives to adulthood would've had the foresight to see the traps ahead rather than jumping into them without a second thought.
Performance is good, the story is just asinine. Trying to get through to the end, hoping I'll be surprised with a twist other than what I expect will happen (doubtful, as it's SO obvious). The 2 MC are so inane I can't help but feel that they deserve each other and the problems they face.
