Terry continues to astonish
This one is battle laden, with all the beloved old characters and some intriguing new ones. Jannik the Rysh is my favorite non-magi. Fallassa and Bova are my new favorite goddesses. And there is nothing more satisfying than telling off a foolish duke, a treacherous vassal, and the Alka Alon council. It's hard to choose just one thing to love about this book, as he's beginning to bring this story to a head. Things start to get done here, and I'm hungry for more.
