Hurt People Hurt People
Fiction? Hardly, this book is rooted in so much truth. The way the author uses each member of the Handler family to explore the cycle of abuse is enlightening. The way this attaches to self-hate, guilt, and self-destructive behavior is vivid. The stories of survivor's at the end are inspiring. if you are a survivor of abuse this book will give you hope.
