Ten years after the first book, Lost, a mysterious witch hunter finds Cinderella and gives her a message that the faerie queen, Mab, searches to destroy her, and he asks her to return to England. Fearing that she will be pulled back into the maelstrom of Napoleon's war sprouting throughout Europe, Cinderella flees and wishes to remain free. Yet the further Cinderella runs from her fate, the more she is drawn back as she learns of a dark secret that forever changes her and sets her off on a course she might never survive.
Stolen is packed with intrigue, adventure, and just the right amount of romance that fans of the Cinderella's Secret Diaries series have come to expect.

What did you love best about Stolen?
This is not your childhood fairy tale... in a good way. Not everything ends up with a happily ever after and Cinderella finds this out the hard way. Stolen picks up 10 years after the first book Lost. Cinderella must tread carefully between fractions that would see her demise. Again Mr. Vitale has written a gripping story of magic and intrigue. Like a great baker he has seamlessly mixed genres of fantasy, sci-fi, romance, time travel with a dash of history to create one tasty morsel of a book. This book should appeal to a wide range of audience. Even though this is a stand alone book, I would suggest to either read or listen to book one Lost as characters and situations are brought back. My only critique would be on the narrator and to preface this is my own preference in my minds eye the narrator's voice is too young sounding for Cinderella. She did a decent job I just had a hard time listening and catching all the words because of her higher register voice even with the kindle sound on high.Again this is my hearing issues. However I just listened again to the book and ran it through my new UG wi-fi speaker and listened to the story while cleaning the house. Since this speaker is noted for it's base qualities it created a richer sound of Ms. Mann's voice and it really enhanced my listening enjoyment.I received this book as part of a promotional give away and this is my honest review.
