WOW!!!!!!

This book has definitely been my #1 read of the year thus far (and my library has been emptied and reloaded with good reads more frequently that I should admit to any sane person have doing). I LOVED IT!!! That being said, I'm getting ready to start on #2 in the series and we do still have a few weeks left of 2015. I hope I enjoy it 1/2 as much as this book. Susan Stoker has now been moved to the top of "my favorite authors" list. Erin Mallon is an awesome narrator as well. She is right up there in my "favs narrator" list right next to (the wonderfully vocally gifted and sexy voiced), Sebastian York.
I definitely recommend this book and this author! 2 thumbs up (and I'll throw the rest of my phalanges in-just for shits and giggles).

The whole series are great! I wish the story was a little longer, what happened to Dex and Mac.

This Is Such A great Series!!

I have read almost all of this series and I Loved it! If you haven't this audiobook would be great for you. The men are Hot and Loveable plus their women are Strong and Fierce. I really enjoyed this first book.

Romance and suspense winning combination

I thoroughly enjoyed this book this is the first time reading this author it will not be my last if you like action suspense a little bit of Veronica and a very good storyline this is the book for you. It almost seems like a story that you would’ve read in the newspaper kidnap Texas Ranger ordinary girl meet fall in love and there’s a serial killer about can’t beat that with a stick I will definitely be reading the next story in the series 5 stars

OMG...Love this book....heart wrenching in parts...but sooooo good...Susan Stoker never disappoints...Erin the narrator....Holy God, the emotions in her voice....riveting...

The story kept my interest, I love the relationships between the main charters, but also how the different agencies work together.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Ok, I normally love this marrator, but please make sure you know how to say the county name properly... It is Bear county, I know it is not spelled that way, but that is how you say it. :)

Great Start to a Series

Daxton and MacKenzie are perfect characters for this story. MacKenzie ' s quirky personality and Daxton's hot self caught and kept my attention throughout the book. The story line was totally believable and realistic. Looking forward to the next book.

I'm in love with Dax!!!

I adored this story and want a relationship like Mack and Dax have!

I'm giving the performance 4 stars because the reader kept pronouncing Bexar wrong. It's pronounced "bear" county.

Loved it

I always enjoy Susan Stoker. Her books area getting better, with more of a plot and less all about sex. In this book we get LOL moments, series moments, and romantic moments. I can't wait for the next books to come out.
