To Market, To Market

A new start as the Farmer’s Market manager is rocky when a vendor is murdered. And a vendor is put in time out for his anger issues and the vendor who wants her job tries sabotage. Now a second murder and the stress is getting high. Great performance and story. Recommend.

Robotic performance, good story

I have read and listened to several of the Danger Cove series. I enjoyed the story itself, the first of the Farmers Market set that I have heard. The cast of characters each had their own distinct personalities to contribute to the market. The way it was written, I thought other characters could have been the murderer. Unfortunately, this performance was horrible. I stuck through listening but at times almost gave up. It sounded like she was a monotone robot, with very little differentiation between voices. In the end, I would have much rather read the book than listened to it.

This is a good cozy mystery. I liked the storyline and the characters. It held my interest. Ill listen to more in this series. Darlene Allen does a good job narrating this book.

A day at the farmer’s market was all wrong, placements were wrong, and the deadly body they found. Wrong day to have the market, good story with enough characters to chose who did it. Given audio for my voluntary review
