Publisher's summary

In the best-selling novels of William W. Johnstone, mountain man Smoke Jensen is a legend. Now, Johnstone presents the adventures of Smoke's long-lost brother Luke, who was reported killed during the Civil War. The war is over and Luke is very much alive, his soul forged by the violence he witnessed on the battlefields. His job is now tracking down the worst outlaws - by any means necessary.

Gloria Jennings is a strikingly beautiful woman. She went on the run when she was accused of murdering her wealthy husband back east. Luke Jensen tracks her down to a ranch in West Texas, only to discover that she has re-married, and is a widow once again; and once again her rancher husband was a victim of murder! Despite appearances, Luke begins to doubt her guilt...and surprises himself by not bringing her in - and actually helping her face down rival ranchers. But another, even more vicious enemy is coming. A secret enemy from Gloria's past who wants her dead at all costs. And it's up to Luke and his lightning hands to make sure that doesn't happen....

Performed by Ken Jackson, Bradley Smith, Yasmin Tuazon, David Jourdan, Andy Brownstein, Doug V Brown, Steve Wannall, Michael John Casey, Matthew McGee, Steven Carpenter, Nick DePinto, Richard Rohan, Nanette Savard, Rose Elizabeth Supan, Scott McCormick, Dylan Lynch, Terence Aselford, David Coyne, Elliot Dash, Christopher Graybill, Kimberly Gilbert.

Luke Jensen a real Gentleman Cowboy.

I liked this book. As soon a heard that wanted poster was for a pretty young female I already had the ending figured out. there was still enough exciting plot and story to keep me last listening. It was by William W Johnston after all.

Bloody Sunday (Luke)

This is another good book about Luke. In this book Luke is back to bounty hunting. He goes after a woman that has a history of killing her husbands. Once he finds her he starts having doubts of her being guilty. There is a good story line in the outcome. It holds your interest . If you like Luke I think you'll like this one. This is a movie in your mind style of book ( Dramatized) with several narrators. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.

Mort Shelby as narrator always stands out in any of the Johnstone sagas. Absolutely love the cast of characters

Love any of the Johnstone sagas.... Finished all 50+ of the Smoke Jensen stories and am pining and pouting for more. Smoke is a small part of Luke Jensen's stories too, but they are good on their own accord as well. Mort Shelby is a diamond among the other gems that is the ensemble of these stories, fantastic job by all
