THE SAINT AND THE SINNER.. a delicious tale 💖

An arranged forced Mafia marriage - a tale as old as time.. an adult beauty and the beast fairytale and a sweet love story all wrapped in a delicious cover I just couldn’t resist.. especially after enjoying book 1 so much. All these books are standalone, all are very entertaining and all are eagerly devoured and sweetly savoured by moi ;) And the narration by Gregory and Allyson was great and both brought the characters and their feels, the tender and triumph, the simmer and sex, the excitement and suspense and the finally letting in to life.

Worth a credit? Yes and I’ve already eagerly ordered book 3.

Powerful and beautiful

WOW!

This book is heart wrenchingly beautiful. Right from the start you are taken along on a journey of 2 people who are scared and physically broken in ways that make them self conscious and closed off. But, when they come together they both begin to discover that with the right person they aren't broken at all.

Bianca is the rebellious ballerina to an Italian Capo who is determined to keep her sister from the seedy word her father lives in, while Mikhail thrives in his job with the Bratva. When the 2 come together in an arranged marriage it could go either way but what comes about is a beautiful story of healing and love.

I could not put this book down and was up WAY past my bedtime devouring it! The plot is good and while it ties in with Book 1 this is absolutely a stand alone if you chose to start here. The editing was great as was the grammar and there are no glaring plot holes or unanswered questions for Bianca and Mikhail!

This book is also available in Audio and Allyson Voller does a truly spectacular job bringing a voice to the now voiceless Bianca, she manages to do so without coming across as weak or whiny. Gregory Salinas is amazing as the gruff non emotional Mikhail and does such a good job slowly revealing those emotions through Mikhails voice as the book goes on.

Loved It!!!

I have never loved an audiobook more!! The book was absolute perfection! Bianca snd Mikhail were my favorite couple! Their story was heartfelt, spicy, dramatic, and the essence of true love. A tale of an arranged marriage between two individuals who needed to be loved flaws and all. The attraction in chemistry flowed effortlessly. Gregory Salinas was a perfect Mikhail and his voice gives such a feeling to the character. Allyson Voller has the most beautiful voice that is so soothing and calm. So articulate as she spoke as Bianka. This is a story I could listen to again and again. I am very eager for the rest of the series.

Excellent Book

This book covers it all! Good plot, excellent narration, steamy, but not over the top. Gregory Salinas does a great child's voice. The main characters are well-rounded, so are the "not-so-main characters. Makes perfect sense that we hear Sergei's story next. Well done, Neva.

Loved this!

This is a new to me author and I started the series out of order. Loved this so much though that I’ll definitely go back and listen to Painted Scars and continue Hidden Truths when that audio is released. Narration was perfect for the story

fell in love with both characters. lots of romance but a good number of smiles to. could not see how story would play out until well into it. so happy to have a new series to jump into. LOVE love love this book

Sooooo loved it

this being book two would usually make you think it wouldn't be as good as the first but it could easily be a stand alone. I love the story and the characters love store from beginning to ending.

Beyond Amazing

The narration was terrific. Each narrator pulled me into the story more and more. The story was made more impactful by having a female character who didn’t speak with her voice but rather her hands and having a male character that wasn’t drop dead gorgeous in the usual sense. Mikail loves Bianca from afar because his whole body is scarred from being tortured. Something the author allows you to think happened from being associated with the Bratva. And Bianca is the daughter of a mafia man who is promised to him. Somehow she falls in love with Michail despite all odds. They develop a connection filled with sexual chemistry and mutual respect. Add in her surprise at learning he has a young daughter and doesn’t like to be touched and you have most unusual romance. A story that shows how love, courage, strength and resilience know no bounds.

Great listen, fantastic narrators

I love this series, not too dark but keeps your interest.loved both main characters and the story flowed well.

Great narrations

Wish the sex scenes were more detailed and hot. other than that the narrators were fantastic.
