Really good and steamy story!

I really enjoyed this steamy story. I really like how Megan was a little bit of a brat and how she got to be with her long time crush. The story was steamy and exciting and I can't wait to get the next story to see what happens.

I really enjoyed the audio ARC I received and this is my honest, voluntary review.

Tony, aka, Captain, had served his country for fifteen years and he is now ready to settle down. He has a reputation for being with women, but he only wants Megan. He has wanted to be with her since she was 18, but the timing was never right. Now, through a comedy of errors, Megan ends up in his lap; literally.

Megan has been in love with Tony for years but never believed they would have a chance. She knows that he has certain proclivities, but they don’t scare her. When he finally tells her how he feels, she doesn’t believe him right away (she has some insecurities). Their one night together leaves them both wanting more.

She isn’t the best sub to his Dom, but they make it work. The sexy times are hot and their relationship is nice. When she gets into trouble his team has to help her and he vows to keep her safe. The main reason I took 1/2 a star away is due to the chapter breaks. It would help if either each time the character POV changed it was a different narrator or if it was a different chapter altogether.

The narrator did a fantastic job with this book and I would definitely listen to another book narrated by him.

Cap and Megan

Performance: I am normally not a fan of audiobooks that are narrated by one person but Sean Masters is an exception. He has a wonderful growly male voice and his female voices were pretty good as well.

Story: I love a good D/s story and this is that. There is some relationship conflict early on that is quickly resolved. The plot outside of the relationship is a bit of a stretch but not so much it take away from the main relationship. The best part is the spice which is plentiful throughout. There are many side characters and a couple get set up for their stories at the end. The main couple gets a HEA.
