Publisher's summary

After the Priesthood wipes out my family, I find myself kidnapped and held prisoner by the head of the Bratva—a man as charming as he is terrifying.

My days are filled with chaotic emotions and fear. With time, I realize Viktor Vetrov wants more than just my obedience. He wants all of me, but I refuse to fall for his filthy promises of ecstasy.

The instant I gain my freedom, I run straight back to the Cosa Nostra. But I quickly learn that there are worse monsters in the world than the one who held me captive.

With no family left, choices are made for me. None are in my best interest. I’m forced to marry a man twice my age who doesn’t have a gentle side.

I only have one hope—Viktor Vetrov—but asking the head of the Bratva to save me will leave me indebted to him.

Do I give myself to the old monster who will use and abuse me, or do I give myself to the attractive devil who wiped out my family?

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Michelle Heard, comes a new standalone, full-length Russian Bratva romance novel.

This book is intended for mature listeners.

almost lost me in the first half.

Don't get me wrong I loved it! but after a year I'd be conflicted but I'd know he wasn't a liar at that point then I'd question him relentlessly until I got my answers with proof. I wouldn't deny him either if I wanted to leave and he offered a guard start up money and a place until I could figure my stuff out. she so worried about needing people she almost got shipped off with Mr. creeps and his body guard crawls. she couldn't even defend herself. you know your family is mafia and you couldn't take a self defense class at the Y.... I'm just saying. she had zero survival skills and she's worried about the big softie that gave her what ever she wanted. but after her cognitive reset she seemed to get it im just mad she needed a concussion to figure it out....

I love Michelle Heard's writing

Thave read and now listened to all of the other books in the Sinner Series. I definitely recommend them for sure. I loved the story in this book. The main female character is strong and resilient. The main male character is obsessed and possessive. I did not want this series to end. But this was the perfect ending! Viktor is my favorite of all the men in the priesthood.good spice, but a slow burn.

Excellent

This is book 5 of the Sinners series. Rosalie is kidnapped by Viktor and kept by him for 3 years. He releases her on her 21st birthday. She learns some hard and painful truths and is kidnapped yet again by men who want her to pay for her families crimes. Please read, you will enjoy!

almost perfect

I love Michelle Heard's stories, and this was no exception. The male narrator was perfect: gravelly and sexy. However, the female narrator does this weird growl at the end of each sentence that is off-putting and makes it difficult to suspend reality.

This Can't Be The Last Book!!

This series has been so difficult to read / listen to, and yet I couldn't put it down. Michelle Heard knows how to write a happy ending that's like a brilliant sunrise after a dark storm. I'll definitely be re-listening to all the Sinners books again. And once again the Foster narrating duo has brought it all to life in the best way.

Fitting

I was tad concerned when it would concluded it would be a romance between these two but the way things played out really kept me engaged. I can say this is up with in the top spot of this trilogy. boy do I love me some Victor.

The underlying sexual tension between Victor and Rosalee.

I love Victor’s dominance in any situation and the big bad bratva leader falling quickly and deeply in love with Rosalee.
