Blane and Mira are the 2 love interests. One a psychologist and the other a mafia member. The female narrator started out and I was a little confused at first as to who is the man. Her male voice let me down as I listened. But Shane East came through. Good storyline. I just feel the narrators can enhance an audio book.

Dangerous

I really really wanted to give this 5 stars but i feel like a chunk of the story is missing! The ending went from her finding out and then all that stuff went down. Overall it was a good hot story and performance was bomb.

Powerfully delivered dark mafia romance!

If you love dark mafia, Alpha protector romance with some enemies to lovers wrapped up in a steamy package that threatens to burn your socks of this one is for you! Excellent fast-paced story, super spicy, and excellent performances that are really powerful by both narrators! Rachel Knight is new to me, but I will definitely listen to her again. I am narrator motivated and picked this book because of Shane East, a powerhouse performer who always delivers!

Ah the mafia bad boy...

Mira is a psychologist who is attracted to her patient, arrogant bad boy Blain. Blain later rescues her from a group of thugs and divulges that he’s mafia. Mira escaped from that life and decides to push her feelings aside. Only when she arrives at home, she’s confronted by her father & brothers,from whom she had run. Her father is forcing her to marry the son of a mafia boss...guess who is her groom... :). The story takes us through the newlyweds getting to know each other while navigating the intricacies of mafia life. There is a secret pregnancy, kidnapping and blackmail. Then a sweet HEA. Would love to get Marcus’ story.

Why did it end there?

How can you end the story with the birth scene but not include the birth and stuff? I would have loved to know if it was a boy or girl at least jeesh.

Steamy

I received a advanced copy of the audio book in exchange for an honest review. And here is what you get if you don't like steamy sex content or violence this book isn't for you and my heart goes out to you cause you are missing the best audio. Nora can write a story that you just won't be able to put down, she makes you feel as if this is part of your life. And I het there higher than an ebook but so dam worth it especially they way she writes she also picked great voices to do them. Blaine and Mira are the best, I also love Marcus and the twins but those are other stories. It is hot and steamy make sure you have a good headset. The story just flows the twists and turns are very well written, it make sense not like some authors throw it together and ur an author not with Nora you find she took her time there no ops here when information doesn't match or those types of things. I ha e always read ebooks but I find I like this more and more because ur not attached u can listen and still do your work I know the price but she is defiantly worth it and if u can't try an audio then do urself the favor and get the ebook you won't be sorry

Great story

I wasn't so sure when I started this book with the two narrators but it grew on me. It was nice to have the two perspectives. The story line was exciting. There was a lot of adventure. It was great to hear how Blaine and Mira grow to love each other. I hope there are more books with the rest of the Steele brothers. I also hope there's an update on how Blaine and Mira are as well.

A really good British crime family story

Blaine and Mira are forced into a marriage neither of them wants, but their crime families have ordered it. To say Blaine and Mira don’t care for one another is an understatement, but they’re determined to manage this inconvenient marriage. As they’re managing things, turns out their spouses aren’t as terrible as they first thought. They confide dark family secrets to one another, hoping betrayal isn’t the result of their moments of vulnerability.

Blaine and Mira’s story was interesting, but loving the bad boy, Blaine makes the story for me. It took time for trust to build between them, and they both had to search within themselves to be able to move forward to eventually reach their HEA. The story was interesting and layered. There are funny moments between Blaine and his brothers Marcus, Liam, and Louis. All are very different, but will defend one another against anyone and anything. I really loved that about them.

This is my first book by Nora Ash, and what a great introduction. Make no mistake, this book is dark, ugly, and violent. Blaine’s family runs the biggest crime family in London, with his father William at the helm. He and his brothers are heirs, and his father will do whatever it takes to keep his family at the top.

Shane East and Rachel Knight narrate this suspenseful, dark, erotic tale.

i got over 1000 hours of listening to books since I discovered it! I love it when I discover a new author and narrator that just helps you escape and pull you into their world they created.
This one is ABSOLUTELY one of them. You will not be disappointed. Hopefully the series continues with all the brothers the twins and very much so Marcus.

Can't wait for more!

The dual narration of this audiobook really makes the story so much more engaging. The mobster/reluctant love story adds an element of intrigue and suspense, that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. I can't wait for what comes next!
