Publisher's summary

An empowering and witty guide to banishing shame and living your fullest life with ADHD—plus tips for loved ones on helping them navigate this world, too—from viral duo ADHD_Love.

What if you stopped feeling ashamed of constantly being late or of getting so hyperfocused on a task that you drop everything else you had to do? How can you as a partner, parent, or friend better understand your neurodivergent loved one’s way of moving through the world?

In Dirty Laundry, life partners Rich Pink and Rox Emery unapologetically guide you through the ups and downs of life with ADHD. Every chapter starts with a common symptom of ADHD, like impulsivity or struggles with finances, and an earnest moment from their own lives to show you how they navigate the symptom together. Rox reminds you to be kind to yourself and love yourself for who you are; Rich offers tips on how he uses compassion and honesty instead of jumping to conclusions. Whether it's helping your ADHDer with friendly time-checks before an appointment or reminding yourself to take breaks during hours spent hyperfocusing on a new project, Rox and Rich give you the tools to destigmatize and normalize life with ADHD.

so good for my soul

The book, its content and narration was just perfect.

The back and forth perspectives kept my ADHD brain engaged the whole time. I sure did binge it.

The love, compassion, grace and warmth I felt was so good for a soul that often feels confused, off kilter and worried.

Thank you Rich and Rox for this book and social media content.

I am thankful for you!

It all makes sense

I’ve read a ton of books on ADHD.. this one is the most personable, relatable, and helpful, which is utterly refreshing. There are so many things I love about it and I don’t want to spoil it. Ultimately, It’s one of those that you have to read for yourself!

I didn't get the handbook either.

As a woman diagnosed at the age of 39, I finally feel like I am not stupid and my brain just works differently. I loved listening to this book. When Rox says she felt like she didn't get the handbook to life that everyone else seems to have gotten, I definitely nodded in agreement. This book helped me learn to give myself grace. Thank you for spreading awareness so those of us who have always felt like we weren't good enough can finally gain clarity.

Perfect for supporters of those with ADHD

I really enjoyed this audio book and the fact that the authors did the narration made all the difference! I love the dynamic between them. As someone with ADHD, it was good to hear about such a healthy relationship but I honestly think this would be most beneficial to those supporting folks with an ADHD brain to help them understand and learn ways to support their loved ones.
Now, if I could only find a Richard Pink for myself….

Great all around book

I like this book because it seems like a good conversation between myself and my spouse. It gives us something as a jumping start to have a conversation about the different ways we think and act. I absolutely love the ADHD dictionary at the end. Thank you

Christmas Shopping is done.

Aaand you get a copy, and You get a copy, and YOU…
I’ve never felt called out in such a compassionate way. Reading as a single mom was a bit challenging at points, but FAR more takeaways in every subject covered.. Cause let me tell ya, this life is Hard without a Richard!

My brain makes sense now

Listening to this book from the perspective of each side has been fascinating and informative.
My adhd brain wasn’t diagnosed until my early 40’s and it’s been a relief and also angered me.
Listening to this book gives me insight to myself which is so refreshing.
It’s also sooooo good to hear about the people hyper focus.
Thank you guys for writing this. I’ll be listening to this one often.
