Mary Monroe does it again!

Mary Monroe is by far my favorite author! Whether it is a period setting or current setting, Mary Monroe brings life to human interactions, emotions and social issues. Her dialogue is always fitting and Her characters are always easy to connect with. She is amazing and a true literary jewel.

I been reading Mary Monroe books for almost 20 years and I just love her books! Them twins had me cracking up!!!

We need the movie version STAT!

This book was thoroughly engaging from start to finish! Had me cracking up one minute, mad the next! The narrator MADE the book. She was outstanding 👏🏾👏🏾
The ending was sad but we all know Fiiona was not ever gonna do right 🤣

I like how Leona was regarded in the end by Jubel

It was a good story and I finished it in two settings. However It was predictable.

Great Read

This was a very well written book and the audible narrator was great with characters.

You never knew what was going to happen next.

i usually only listen to audible books in the car. This story was so good I was listening to it in the house. The voices were well choosen. i was able to picture most of the scenes. Kept my attention the whole time.

Extraordinary story!

Very interesting story….kept my attention. There was the usual Mary Monroe character that tolerated too much abuse and unfairness. The last part was surprising! I wanted the story to last longer. MM is still my favorite!❤️

Mary Monroe has done it again! This was an exciting “read”! At first, it felt like I was in Lexington because I couldn’t tell the twins apart either! You are a superb storyteller and I can’t wait to see what’s next
