Already not yet

This book was helpful in both allowing me to recognize and even embrace the tensions found in the Christian life. Piper notes that often we won’t have all the answers… but that God is still God and we are not. This truth, that God is God, will serve to comfort the believer and bolster their faith.

Good book a little repetitive

I really like the beginning of this book. Mark 9:22-23 is one of my all time favorite verse. I relate so much with my walk with Christ to the father of the boy. “I believe, help my unbelief” I feel like this is one line in the Bible that just explains the Christian faith, we believe, but there is so much we don’t know that we have to just have faith in. That all being said. I appreciated the life stories that Barnabas brings to the book, his back ground of being a PK and being the golden SS child with the answers is relatable to most of us kids who have grown up in church. But I feel like he ended up repeating the same thoughts just reworded over and over again. There was some great stuff sprinkled in the repetition but I feel like this could have been a lot shorter. I think the words he used was landing the plan. LOL
I got a lot of of the book but ended up skimming quite a bit in the last 50 pages or so.

Excellent but repetitive

I experienced a total mindset shift from the first 3 chapters in regards to how I approach my unanswered spiritual questions. I am incredibly greatful! However the book became repetitive as it dragged to the end. The same things could’ve been said in half the space.
