Publisher's summary
Those that oppose Terek find a country at odds with itself and less than fully committed to their new leader's vision. Yet Terek's power and reach have brought most of the human civilization under his control. A surprise from Terek’s past and a bargain struck out of necessity have likewise placed the dragons in Terek’s debt. Now, it appears that only the elves stand between the wizard and total control of Verdan. Thus, Terek has summoned the elven kings and queens to Bardoom for a council that will determine all their fates.
But while Terek seeks to consolidate his control, an ancient power and a secret organization may yet play a pivotal role in determining the final outcome. And not to be discounted are the heroes who risked all to reach his inner fortress at Mt. Bardoom. For it is there that the final battles will be fought and the victors crowned as the Heroes of Bardoom.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Ben clocked in and clocked out, living a dreary life until a rip of energy caught his attention. Of course, interfering with the spell proved disastrous and he's sucked into a portal. On Semintor, the fantastical exists alongside wondrous magic. Ben arrives with a massive advantage thanks to his tinkering with the portal that got him there: his Arcana—his ability to cast powerful magic—are downright godly. Story
Maximo Strident, war veteran and member of local law enforcement, never wanted to enter the dungeon. With promises of wealth beyond his imagination, his squad mates managed to convince him. Max isn’t a Knight, so he has no magical equipment or spells that could help him against monsters. What he does have, however, are the sword forms he learnt at the Blade Academy. These forms are formidable martial arts that make him the match of Level 0 monsters. But Level 99 monsters? He doesn’t stand a chance.

Future Past rollicks across a world of artificial gods and aliens that are altogether too damn real! It has villains that want to literally destroy the world, it has heroes that just need a good nap! If it doesn’t make you think of some classics of science fantasy, then there’s a whole list of books you need to read. Kevin McCarthy has constructed a future history in which the past —our present— is not so much forgotten as …misremembered? De-extincted dinosaurs? Check. Loquacious extraterrestrial arachnid bureaucrats? Check. Animatronic pantheons? Check! The Creature from the ...

After having kept my hands to myself for years, It's time to enjoy myself a bit as well with an enemy-turned-ally magician who is as smart as she is beautiful, a bar owner who can equally hold herself in a fight as much as with liquor, and the only other survivor other than myself, a golden-haired healer who's even more damaged than I am. Change looms behind Greystone's colossal walls as guilds vanish, arena fighters wind up dead, and whispers of a great war permeate the streets. My name is Cade, a man driven by vengeance, and I am going to bring it all down!
