Publisher's summary

They were best friends until they became roommates. Booker Harris has spent the last several years pushing himself to become the best goalkeeper in the Championship League. Tired of living in the shadows of his headline-splashing brothers, he has finally carved a path of his own. As a child, Poppy McAdams was content in her own little make-believe world, until the boy next door with dimples and pained eyes came barreling into her makeshift fort demanding all her attention. Best friends for most of their lives, everything changes when Poppy abruptly leaves London for University. Now she is back, and gone is the awkward girl from Booker's youth. She has been replaced by a stunning woman with secrets. Secrets that Booker is desperate to know. Sharing a bedroom wall with your best friend from childhood quickly turns to anything but sweet and innocent.

A great treat

Booker & Poppy will melt your heart. But the part I liked best was the glimpses of their childhood. This book has the rest of the Harris family plus a couple of new characters that I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this book series to you because each book is so well written and performed beautifully.

I’m a Will M Watt FAN

I love the story, but the point of an audiobook is the acting involved. So many of the voice talent have great sounding voices, but they are not acting. Will M Watt acts his butt on his recordings.

Charlotte was great too. I adore the Poppy character and found myself recently singing words or phrases like Poppy.

Whole book was great fun and enough twists to keep me engaged. I’m getting more Amy Daws audiobooks. And I wish everyone would do the duet technique.

This narration is everything!!!!

I read this book a couple of months ago and completely fell in love with Poppy and Booker. I jumped at the chance to listen to and review the audio.

This narration style is everything! Not only do we get the chapters narrated by Poppy or Booker, but we get so much more. This is done duet style (which I’ve never heard of before, but I would like all my books to come this way now. It really livens the whole story and makes the dialogue pop. It also doesn’t hurt that these awesome narrators have a way better British accent than I do.

For performance alone this book is already a 5 Star Read! But the story is also amazing. I love the friends-to-lovers storyline and loved getting glimpses of Poppy and Booker as children. I already loved the Harris Brothers and knew I would love Booker but I wasn’t ready for how much I fell for him and Poppy.

This is a wonderful story of second chances and growing up and it’s 100% a must read!

I want him to be MY boyfriend

This may be the best friends to lovers book i have listened. So sweet, sexy enough and not too angsty. A very enjoyable listen! I could not stop once I started. I would absolutely recommend this is if you want that easy "I love him, how do I make him love me?" teasing storyline.

The hero and heroine got chemistry and it was obvious how much they loved each other. I especially loved the hero because he was not that typical alpha male who just happens to have that sex appeal in which every women fall. The hero was sweet, funny, sexy and also emotional enough at times. Ahh I just loved him.

I LOVED the narrators! They both fit perfectly in their roles. I think Will Watt quickly became one of my favourite male narrators! It was refreshing to listen british accent by both of them, not just the male which is usually the case.

Listen this!!

Best Friends to Lovers unplanned pregnancy

Best Friends to Lovers
unplanned pregnancy

Booker and Poppy were great. Of course proper communication could have wrapped it all up sooner but where is the fun in that?

Poppy and Booker are best friends since the age of 7, they were each others rock growing up. When Poppy moves back from Germany Booker insists she stay with him. It's been 6 years since he has seen his best friend and they hadn't parted on the best of terms but now they're living together, catching up and realizing feelings.

Vi Harris is my favorite Harris...hands down. She take her mother hen role very seriously and honestly these brothers of hers need it.

A Must Have!

We all know and love the Hemsworth brothers, right? If you don't, you're really missing out. Accents. Muscles. Sparkling eyes. Gorgeous smiles. The Harris brothers are like the Hemsworths of the romance book world and they never disappoint. Will Watt and Charlotte Cole narrating Booker and Poppy is just...PERFECT. Charlotte nailed Poppy's tendency to sing and the emotion in Will's voice brought to life Booker's emotional struggles. How would I describe the Keeper audiobook? Sensual. Charming. Emotional. Humorous.  A must listen!

The story is really enjoyable and being able to hear it was a nice touch. I love the dual narration. The narrators did a great job in bringing the story to life.

Audio to die for!

I am in absolute LOVE with this narration. Hands down THE BEST IVE EVER HEARD! Highly addictive, from the moment you press play. An absolute must have in your audible library.

My LOVE for this series knows no bounds. Amy writes the most incredible series. The Harris brothers are my absolute favorite.

Booker is the keeper he is the "baby" brother. Well in so many ways he certainly is no baby. Poppy is Booker's childhood bestie. Many mike's has kept them apart but it's the secrets that kept them at arms length. When life comes screaming at them full force what choice do they have?

If you haven't had the pleasure of reading Amy's books I would say WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?! The Harris brothers will make you laugh until you pee your knickers, you will love each and every word in this book.

Super Sweet

This story starts off with Booker moving into his own place and inviting his childhood best friend to move in with him to save her some major commute time.

Of course sparks fly, and things heat up!!

Then he pulls a bonehead move and makes her sad 😢😢 fairly typical in the romance world.

HOWEVER the way Amy writes the make up and the rest of this couples story is superbly sweet and the last chapter mad me audibly going “awewwwwwwww”

I very much enjoyed these two as they didn’t have the typical start to their relationship since they’ve been great friends since childhood.

Also with Booker being the youngest he has the most affection to give but didn’t know fully how to give it until he crashed into the wall of feelings like it was brick and needed to figure out how to get through it.

Highly recommend this book and authors work.
