The story was sweet & little infuriating at times with the lying to get back at her but I LOVED J.F Harding!

Such a sweet story

I really enjoyed this story. It was a story with real life obstacles. Not every relationship is perfect and sometimes you have to go through things to appreciate what you have or had and this story shows that. Also, it shows that while men are messing up another good man is lurking in waiting to scoop up a good woman.

5⭐️4.5🌶 Loved this book. Kept me interested and the spice was perfect. The ending is a little basic so I gave it a 4. Still.. this book is in my top 20. I'm definitely going to listen to more Tess Summers.

Squirming sensual scenes!

I loved the narrators and the story was nice as well. It definitely kept me engaged. The explicit mature scenes were tantalizing!

Great story

Well written story with great narration. excellent character development. Characters, feel like close friends, sharing an important part of their lives.

So good until the climax 🥲

The story was so good until the last few chapters. I hate stories where the girl keeps her pregnancy a secret. That should only be done if you and the child’s father have come to a verbal agreement that he doesn’t want the child. (No fluff or pussyfooting)

She spoke in the most vague terms and then act as if he’s clairvoyant. At the end she says he needs a “road map to deal with her feelings” and it’s like no, actually he just needs you to verbally communicate what you think and feel. That’s it.

Lovely story

Great story, but very drawn out and a bit frustrating with the miscommunication between the couple.

Fun Listen

This was a fun listen. It's a sweet story with great characters. I do wish there was a little less back and forth but overall I enjoyed the listen and narration was done well.

Three and a half growling meows

If there is one word that I could describe this book, I would choose petty . Because of all the things that I would not forget about this one is that the MCs conflicts were almost childish, even if the heroine is a PhD holder and the hero is a successful lawyer in his 40s. Thus, I only enjoyed the first quarter of the book; the rest were just okay for me. The moment they had their first conflict, I felt the reason was so trivial it made me wonder if they were really in love or just in lust. Despite that, I still decided to finish it because I loved listening to J.F. Harding's narration. As always, he delivered.

I think big fans of NA would enjoy reading this. This is my first book from the author, and all I can say is I have no problems with the way she writes. But because I think this one does not give the goosebumps I am looking for in a good romance novel, I am not sure if I will be reading the next book from the series next. Maybe someday, but definitely not soon.
