Publisher's summary

The Werewolf Shifter promised me my freedom if I played along with him.
But the longer I faked it, the deeper we fell, and the more my heart wanted anything but freedom.

I'm the pack’s most valued witch, trapped in servitude, craving freedom.
He’s a mysterious, smoking-hot wolf shifter exiled from his pack.

Now, he needs to overcome their rejection by pretending to be my fated mate.
Except I know it's not pretend.

Our genuine mating bond has been concealed by a powerful potion.
It's a thrilling masquerade but oh-so-tempting, and he's oblivious to the truth.

Activating the alpha bad boy's instincts changes everything–unleashing a storm of passion I can't control.
Unable to keep him at arm’s length, we give into the temptation only to crave more.

Now I must convince him that our bond’s real before the mark’s removed, rejecting me.
And the baby he doesn't know is on the way.

Will I break free from the pack's clutches and find my happily-ever-after?
It's time to cast my spell and find out.

Author's Note: This steamy HEA standalone novel is full of twists, explicit love scenes and everlasting love. Intended for 18+ audiences.

good story, computer generated narration not so great

Computer generated narration is one dimensional. Makes it harder to follow the characters, mispronounced words, etc, Please go back to human actor narration - so much better.

Great story line.

I loved the story line and characters. AI wasn’t bad actually. However, no amount of technology can put human warmth to the voice.

Real People vs AI

Good story however, you could not distinguish between CHARACTERS with AI. This will not replace real people. Please please use real voices.

AI narration totally flat

Right up front you are told this book is narrated by an AI voice. And the female narration begins. So you would think Artificial Intelligence could more easily distinguish between a male voice and a female - wouldn’t that be one reason to use AI? Not here. You might expect there to be some degree of nuance in the expression. Not here. Even the cursing was totally flat- not even a hint of anger. When the female character was saying the male characters name in a fit of passion, there was absolutely no difference in tone from the description of the room.
I stuck it out for 3 hours and finally decided to chuck it. The story was so-so and good narration could have pulled it up a notch. This narration pulled the story down.
NOT recommended.

AI Narrator

The Virtual Voice software was unable to distinguish characters so you often did not know who was speaking. Same delivery whether an intimate scene or a battle to the death. Sentences oddly interpreted. Hard to immerse yourself into the story which could have also used some editing. Will avoid future titles using this method.

loved the story hated the audible

im sorry call me prejudice but i prefer humans to computer when it comes to audibles. i think it's dunb to listen to a male part in a womans voice a human would of at keast trued to make her voice sound different when reading a different character to me it defeats the purpose of an audible, i like to listen to the different voices and also some feelings the computer voice is monotoned and expressionless i had to stop and continue just reading it myself. the story is good. the naration sucked.
