Publisher's summary

In Molly Harper's newest paranormal romantic comedy set in her beloved Half Moon Hollow, a vampire princess must learn how to navigate life as a college student - including living with her messy, annoying, frustrating new roommate.

Ophelia Lambert, 400-year-old vampire princess and college freshman, suddenly finds herself domesticated by humans and forced to suffer the indignities of dorm rooms, communal bathrooms, and a roommate with sticky fingers.

As one of the hundreds of undead venturing into postsecondary education, Ophelia has a lot more to learn than just "undead studies" - she has to learn to get along with her fellow vampire classmates and, worst of all, her human ones, along with getting back into the good graces of the World Council for the Equal Treatment of the Undead.

Can this once all-powerful vampire princess balance classes and campus life with romance, human and vampire relations, and not sinking her teeth into her annoying roommate?

With her "distinct, captivating style" (RT Book Reviews), Molly Harper demonstrates that she is one of the best voices in paranormal romance.

Molly Harper's endearing wording saves the day.

Fan girls and boys of Molly harper all just let out a squeal as they picked up this little treasure.

Romance, revenge and a new ability; Plenty to intrigue.

The story itself is a little weak and those who aren't a die hard fan desperate for more will not enjoy this. But lets face it, if you're reading it at all it's because Molly Harper's sweet phrases continue to entrance you again and again.

Honestly she could write just about anything and her fans would buy it. And I'd be right there in the front row. Because she knows how to inject relatability, humour and strength into all her lead characters. And it's nice to spend time with people like that.
*she said from her dark lonely cave of unsociability*

The Jane Jameson world cash cow has plenty more to give so keep the spin off's a-coming.

Never disappointment with Molly + Amanda

What did you love best about Big Vamp on Campus?

It gave us a great different point of view by having a book from Olivia. Didn't necessarily make me like her any less, but it did make the whole half-moon hallow universe seem more complete and understandable.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jane is still my favorite character of course, but she only appears briefly in this one. Getting to know Olivia though was also really entertaining.

Which scene was your favorite?

Spoiler alert**When Jamie breaks up with Olivia because of her antics, been waiting for that moment for a while, it was almost satisfying haha

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

How to Survive on more than blood

Any additional comments?

As usual Harper and Ronconi are amazing and bring characters we've already fallen in love or dislike with to life in a way that makes me want to know them, sometimes even think that I do know them. WWJJD? What would Jane Jamison do? That has been my moto sometimes after reading this spectacular series.

More of an epilogue than a sequel

This is a great snack while waiting for the next Half Moon Hollow book, and it is an interesting follow-up on Ophelia after book 3 (The Dangers of Dating a Rebound Vampire).

The problem is that there is little in the way of plot, no mystery, suspense, twists, drama (unless you consider living 600 years and still suffering through teenage angst is horrifying). It is just the story of what happened next.

I still found it entertaining, even if just filling in what happened afterward. I think you would need to be a fan of the series to be previously invested in the characters.

Great, but short.

l love this pair together, Harper and Ronconi. Only negative was the length....just a teaser story. My guess is that it was just that a teaser. Much like the Undead Christmas, it gave some clues that there is a bigger story brewing. Something btwn...Council Contacts, Jane and a women at the college in charge of Ophelia. At least I hoping for another Half Moon Hollow mystery!

These 2 always make me laugh...

What did you like best about this story?

It showed that Ophelia is beginning to have more depth. Now when she is in a story, we will not be able to assume she will only do something reprehensible. Although she is definitely still capable.

Any additional comments?

The only downfall to this book was that it was too short. I wished it could have been at least another 150 pages. I love the combination of Molly and Amanda. I also love how they can make a gloomy day feel a little brighter.

O'Philia!

I've been hoping she would do a story about O'Philia, she has been one my favorite characters since the beginning!
I've always loved her shady doings coupled with her girly slash Secret Agent appeal.

My only complaint is that she did not go into more detail about Os past and how she became part of the organization.
I would loved to have heard more about the little sister and more about how things wrap up between her and Jane, maybe there will be more some other book.

Overall great story, and as always a joy to read, and Amanda Ronconi does an outstanding job as usual.
I love the Duo of Molly and Amanda.

Finally, Ophelia has her own story!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! I love the Half-Moon Hollow series and this novella is no exception. Molly Harper writes excellent paranormal romance with enough snark thrown in to keep you laughing out loud.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Big Vamp on Campus?

The fight scene between Ophelia and her roommate was fun. Ophelia certainly learned how to hand out a beat down in her 400 years!

Which character – as performed by Amanda Ronconi – was your favorite?

Definitely Ophelia

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Interesting extension of the series, but too short

I liked this story, but there is a lot that can still be done with the whole college setting.
I imagine the real purpose of this story is to set up things for future books, but Ophelia does have a full arc and even gets a significant power upgrade, so I guess i shouldnt complain.
I did not give this book five stars only because i think a five star book should be really special, and this story felt a bit rushed and a bit short.
