Great Book on Body Language with Great Narration

Loved it; repetition without being laboriously repetitive (and I'll probably listen to it again). Great way to learn. Highly recommended for those interested in learning to read body language. Love how the author incorporates his personality and humor into the book, as well.

Book unparalleled, narrator subpar

This is a major eye opening yet introductory book of its kind. Author is very charitable and has made his most useful behavioral table of elements (periodic table of human behavior) accessible on his website. There is a lot to learn and regular practice of these methods will clearly take longer than how long the book is.
Only feedback- it doesn’t look like many narrators were screened to do this task. But you eventually get used to the narration with occasional setbacks along the way.

watch your pronouns

This book is very informative. Great resource on communication styles, and personalities. I can see how it will help with conflict resolution. It can help build repore. Mr Hughes has an impressive background in intelligence.

good

book does what it set out to, of course it requires some work on your end. Having listened to other books about behavior, I still picked up something new.

wow! So much here

I enjoyed the reader's smooth voice. but I kept hearing Chase's voice in my head. I like that there is a system of practicing exercises to hone your skills, included in the book. After the first reading, I am hopeful that studying this material will be an enjoyable way to see humanity.

A rare gem

The field of behavior is filled with all kinds of hocus pocus and and the like. But here is some real gold. Especially chapter nine. If only people were taught this from a young age their whole life course would be vastly different.

The manual for understanding people

I devoured this book and I plan to take it on as my project for at least the next 25 weeks. This is the length of the plan Chase laid out for all of us at the end of the book to internalize his periodic table of human behavior.

As a social media marketing agency owner and trainer, this book is liquid gold. My business is to persuade people to take actions that are great for their business and customers, but that are not always easy to implement.

In many ways, social media environments require us to face our fears head on every day. In the book, Chase lays out the pillars that unconsciously drive our decisions and the fears that keep us from moving forward, (and yes Chase, as I write this I realize I'm others focused).

The frameworks in this book can't be unseen and I am very excited to apply it to help my clients and students get better results.

Just buy the book, you won't regret it!

I don't understand the negative review here.

I am still listening to this book, but I have gotten far more detailed information on this subject than any other resource I've looked into. I actually am considering buying a hard copy so I can make notes in it. There is a lot to take in and process, so maybe the one other comment here is based on them being overwhelmed. Or maybe they had a misunderstanding of what this book is about. Since I haven't finished, I could still come across something that I don't care for, but so far, even if this was all there was to the book, I would feel like I got my money's worth.
When I read comments, I usually skip the 5 star ratings because I suspect most are fake, but I really don't have a reason, so far, to knock it down a star. My 5 star rating is genuine since I have no reason for it to be any less than that.
You can always listen to the first chapter for free. Also, there is a lot of good information on the author's YouTube channel.

Chase Hughes is a genius!

Chase is a genius. I have worked in the criminal justice field specifically with populations struggling with substance abuse (and often MH) issues. Chase is able to explain why what I do works and how I can get better at it in a way that strictly academic publications cannot. I have spent so much time and money over the years, unable to fully get answers about what I’m seeing in my day to day. Chase and his cohort at the Bx Panel are it! (Now I just have to go save up for his Ops manual. Anyone hiring?)
