Like a warm mug of sexy cocoa
Simon and Ben are a delightful couple, working out the already treacherous terrain of relationships while also navigating the even more complex disparities in their financial and social stations in life. This book is a love affair with Chicago at Christmas time, as well as a way of proving that age and money gap romances can be sweet and human without ridiculous shenanigans or evil exes used as lame foils. It's a story about adults who act like wonderful, flawed grown ups. The banter is fun, the tone is (mostly) light, and the ending is respectful of both the characters and the reader. Michael Ferraiuolo's performance is exceptional, and I appreciated that he flipped the script on intonation; the younger, smaller character has a lower voice, and that was a refreshing change. In certain respects, it bridged some of the differences between the two characters.

Excellent Story!
This author's writing style is one of my all-time favorites! Solid storyline, depth of characters and relationship development, and perfect narration. Highly recommend!
