How to understand & release your trauma.

The Blessing of Somatic Therapy Techniques explains how to identify your trauma and what can be done to heal it. The starting point is acknowledging you have trauma and then defining its origin and type so you can accept somatic therapy to help you get past the physical, emotional, and mental pain. Identifying your pain points and what triggers your behavior to help you overcome them. Trauma healing can only occur if you are willing to address the issues and use a journal. Use "I" statements and deep breathing exercises to overcome them. You have to face it. Keeping your traumas hidden will not make them go away; it only buries them while your body exhibits physical manifestations such as high blood pressure, back pain, nightmares, heart problems and other illnesses unless you get therapy. Practice daily mindfulness techniques. Seeking help is the only actual solution to unravel the deep roots that trauma has in your life.
