Missing The Rest of The Story, Lacking An Ending

The Journey Begins by Kelly Duran
6m narrated by Stephanie Einstein

Genre: Short Story, Domestic Fiction, Travel

Featuring: RV, Septuagenarian, Dog

Rating as a movie: PG

My rating: 🚙⭐️⭐️⭐️

My thoughts: I knew this was unlikely to be amazing but I have been amazed by short stories before. In the first minute, you discover it's about a 73-year-old in an RV with her dog and I knew then it was unlikely to be amazing. Sure enough, although the story isn't bad it leaves you wanting. It doesn't read like a short story, it reads like the opening of a novel and you're wondering what happened to the next chapter.

Recommend to others: IDK. Only if you like cliffhangers
