NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Jane Hawk’s one-woman war comes to an explosive climax as the rogue FBI agent gambles everything against a terrifying conspiracy, for vengeance, for justice, and for humanity’s freedom - from the author of The Silent Corner.

“Jane Hawk is arguably the best character Koontz has created.... Simply put, wow.” - Associated Press

A visionary young filmmaker hunted for sport across a vast Colorado ranch by the celebrated billionaire at the heart of a monstrous cabal....

A brilliant computer hacker slipping through top-secret databases a whisper ahead of security trackers, gathering the facts to fight the all-powerful perpetrators of mass murder....

A pair of brutal operators, methodically shadowing their targets with every cutting-edge tool in the arsenal of today’s surveillance state....

A sequence of quiet heroes - everyday citizens - stepping up, stepping forward, intent on countering the advancing darkness....

A Vegas mob boss teamed with a homicidal sociopath, circling a beloved boy and his protectors, aiming to secure him as leverage against his fugitive mother...

And that fugitive mother herself, ex-agent Jane Hawk, closing in on the malevolent architects of ruin she has stalked as they stalk her, prepared to sacrifice herself to finally bring them down.

These are the people and circumstances of The Night Window, the thrilling novel in Dean Koontz’s acclaimed Jane Hawk series. Replete - and then some - with the ingenious twists, the spellbinding action, the resonant themes, the sheer heart that have characterized Jane’s journey from the start, The Night Window follows its extraordinary heroine to her long-sought objective, in a stunning, unforgettable finale.

Don’t miss any of Dean Koontz’s gripping Jane Hawk thrillers:

and they all lived happily ever after, of course

I'm really glad this series is finished, well I sure hope it has. Don't get me wrong, I think the premise was great and thank god for Elizabeth Rogers - a damn excellent performer and far better than any old narrator - but it was far too long and drawn out. Instead of 5 tedious books it could have been cut down to 3 very excellent ones. Was this Mr Koontz doing or those greedy publishers, I wonder. It's a pity because, for me, it spoilt what could have a series I would have thoroughly recommended.

And so it ends

I have been enthralled in the Jane Hawk story. This was the first one where I was just waiting for it to finish. Having the items from the previous books being repeated so that the book could be a stand alone book was tiring. Still, the story was great. All the fine details give you a great minds eye view of the story.

Excellent & Powerful! This is Koontz at his best!

A good story is one you know has to end, but with all your heart and soul, you do not want the end to ever come. Gripping and insightful, the entire Jane Hawke series showed us the ugliest sides and the most inspiring sides of humanity. I only wish today's truly ugly people were brave enough to read this series of books and take from it the truth of their ugliness. Well done, Mr. Koontz. I look forward to more of Jane Hawke.

Koontz rebounds with Hawk!

I’ve read almost everything that Koontz has written sometimes brilliant other times not so much and I like many wondered what happened.
Now I wonder if he wasn’t just biding his time until also introduced to the beautiful worthy courageous Jane Hawk. He is her and she him in a classic gender fluidity that exemplifies what not only great writers who become part of their own storytelling but those whose gender fluidity is a way of life can experience. To be able to pull that off with such understanding and balance of what makes us who we are and how we react to circumstances we face is nothing short of a prodigious feat. Koontz shines through Hawk with his driving plot of an everyday person faced with anything but an everyday situation and how to stay on track of what’s really important to our culture and society. A gossamer line if ever there was one.

I applaud you Mr. Koontz and your talent. I applaud what you’ve shown over your career as a writer to be a glimpse of your true ideology.

Now please continue and give us more.

Great start, but disappointing ending.

I was really enjoying the book until the abrupt, anticlimatic ending. It felt like the author just ran out of ideas, and wrapped things up. I was hoping for a few more twists and turns.

Loved this series

I could not wait for this last book to come out. Dean Koontz tells the best stories. It kept my interest from beginning of the first book all the way through this final in fifth book. I could not wait to find out what happened next. I loved the humor that was thrown in here and there and the characters were all unique and interesting. What am I going to read next?

That was insane!!!

Okay okay maybe he out did Watchers. For sure better than the beginning of the Odd Thomas series which was great and challenged Watchers. So maybe his best but once though not the same as 20 times through like Watchers so can't fully claim the best. Tell you 19 times from now.
