I loved this story with every fiber of my being! So well written and the audiobook was fantastic. It’s a MUST!

Great book. Terrible narration

The female narrator is nerve wracking. Literally nails on a chalkboard. It’s like she reads it with no punctuation, the last word of every sentence is drug out and breathy. I stopped listening and just found the book on kindle. Don’t waste your money on this download

Love this book

Absolutely loved the story and loved the female voice but I could not stand the male voice it was terrible and I almost dnf’d because of it buuuuut I stuck it out and fell in love with the book halfway though (male voice was terrible the whole time)

Absolutely loved this, starting the next one asap. I loved that there were different story lines in and it always kept me on my seat.. dark love is everything to me.

I needed some new filth in my life! After reading so many spicy books, they started to get stagnant… same storyline, plot, etc just different characters… but this was perfect! After the first quarter of the book, I went ahead and ordered more!

OMG, love it!!

This was my first book by Shantel and I didn't know what to expect. Let me just say I definitely was not disappointed. This had suspense, BDSM, murder and loyalty. Sometimes what you believe isn't always the truth. Ryat and Blakely were pawns in a much bigger game of cat and mouse. Once secrets are revealed, will Ryat be able to save Blakely? The narrators brought this story to life. I highly recommend reading/listening to this series.

Perfect Plot!

I really loved this book. The plot/story was fabulous. The characters were great, too. The steamy parts, and there were MANY, were pretty good too although I found the descriptions somewhat repetitive. This book reminds me of the movie trilogy called The Skulls. It definitely left me wanting more, and I'm reading the 2nd one in The Lord's series next. The only thing I didn't really like were the voice actors, but honestly I can't complain all that much, because as I was getting more and more into the book I realized that the voices actually fit the characters. Small price to pay for such a great read. Very thrilling, suspenseful, fun and sexy. My mouth dropped open in disbelief probably 3 times. Thus was the first dark romance book I've ever read in my life, and im definitely not sorry i took a chance on it. Can't wait to read the next one!

Could've had better narration

Just like most of the other reviews here. The book was FANTASTIC, the narration was absolutely not. Quite the bummer honestly. Stick to paperbacks.
