Can’t put it down!

Second Kathryn Croft book for me and it was excellent! It kept me very captivated!

Surprise ending!

The story was pretty basic . Character development could have been better. But it was nice to have the ending be something different.

4.3 Stars Above Avg in places

Narration performance of both main characters was on point. All secondary characters felt under performed, maybe also underdeveloped. The story felt a little Frankensteined. It was certainly better than average but I would only recommend as a quick “junk food” listen. Not a must. It’s too bad stars have to be whole numbers.

A quick, immersive read

I absolutely loved all the twists and layers of complexity that were packed into this novella! I can’t wait to read more by this author.

Enjoyed the story

I really enjoyed the story and the narrators were really good. I also loved that it was free to listen to
