A Complete Duet - The story of Tatiana Nikolaev!

My husband.
His secrets.
Our tragedy.

I thought I knew him. I didn’t. I thought he was trustworthy. He wasn’t.

But nothing in this world is as it seems.

I caught the attention of the most notorious man in the underworld.

Konstantin wasn’t the type to be ignored. He commanded his criminal empire with an iron fist but he had secrets of his own.

But I was Tatiana Nikolaev. I’d never bend to a man’s will or be used as a pawn. Not again.

The moment I tempted the fates and played with fire, life spiraled out of control.

My only way of survival was to trust again.

But could I?

This book is part of a duet and is not stand-alone.

Incredible Story, Duet Finale & Narration🎧

Wow, just wow, never saw that coming! Eva Winners delivers a mind-blowing conclusion to Tatiana Nikolaev and Illias Konstantin’s story. Their story starts in “Thorns of Lust”, a not to be missed book and which should be read or listened to first, to not only get the most out of their story, but the world building, too. This is fast moving and action-packed story captivated my attention from start to end. Tatiana wanted answers, ones Illias was not providing, so she found another way to get them and she gets her answers and way more than she bargained for. I highly recommend this duet and to avoid all spoilers, there is a surprising twist, and it is best to go in not knowing it, since it changes everything and nothing at the same time. Eva Winner, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 Tor Thom and Erin Mallon’s exceptional performance of bringing these characters and story to life continues. Their character voices have been consistent throughout the duet and the quality of the audio is top-notch. Eva Winners chose the perfect cast to bring her characters and story to life and their narration enhances the already brilliant story to another level. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Thorns of Love

Thorns of Love is the second book in the Thorns of Omerta series. This book is about Konstantin and Tatiana and is told from both of their points of view. This book starts off right where book one ends, and needs to be read in order.

This book had so many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Konstantin and Tatiana are still growing on each other, and their banter is still as good as always.

Konstantin will do anything to have Tatiana as his, and Tatiana is still trying to do everything independently, but some things threaten to ruin them. This book was great, and I can't wait to see what happens next in this series!

Fun! Read these in order ...

This picks up pretty much right where ‘Thorns of Lust’ ends and I do recommend reading them both, together and in order.

This is fast-paced, and manages to be both humorous at times, and heart-wrenching at other times. It’s a fun mix of danger, steamy times, corrupt-y / dangerous drama, action and more (just a few of which, I’ll list…)

Dubcon.
Crime families / crime underworld.
Danger.
Manipulation.
Coerced marriage.
Action.
Violence.
Fun pop-culture references.

Overall:
4 stars.

Audio:
Not the level of sound quality I’m used to from PFP, though still better than most. The male narrators parts are high quality, while the female narrator’s parts have some issues, such as there’s a bit of static at times, she’s very breathy, at times it sounds like she’s panting, and the overall sound quality (again: just on her parts) is not crisp or clear. She sounds a bit jumbled. It’s a bit jarring when they speak together, and during her parts, because it’s so noticeable compared to his parts which are crisp/clear.
As I said though, still better than many productions—3.5 stars overall.

Great storyline

Everything was great except when the male narrator spoke in English his last word in each sentence was very hard to hear, he says it in a breathy way that you can’t hear

Thorns of Love

This is the second book in the Thorns of Omertà series. This completes the duet storyline for Tatiana and Ellis. At the end of book one Konstantin blackmailed Tatiana into marriage. I love their love story. Even though it was not easy, they would go to the ends of the earth for each other. Erin Mallon and Tor Thom did a fantastic job narrating this duet in duet style narration.

Love The Beginning Of This Series

This series is as good as the other series by Eva Winters. My ONLY complaint I have is that she doesn’t finish a series before starting a new series. In each series the reference characters in other series and you have no idea what happened with the character(s). Very frustrating but all in all they are all good stories including this one.

Entertaining, Passionate, and Captivating!

This is the second book in the Thorns of Omertà Series, and the last book in Konstantin and Tatiana's duet. Konstantine is enigmatic, handsome, dominant, possessive, and protective. Tatiana is beautiful, smart, sassy, strong, and determined. They are perfect and powerful together. The story is entertaining, passionate, and captivating, filled with danger, secrets, and twists and turns. This is a great conclusion to the duet. Tor Thom and Erin Mallon did an excellent job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Thorns of Death, the next book in the series. If you like mafia romance, this series is for you. #PFPAudio

WOW!!!! UNBELIEVABLE AND MIND-BLOWING!!!

Tatiana and Konstantin are the queen and king!!! Amazing storyline and I would never guessed that the adrian is alive! that was indeed a plot twist, but I definitely enjoy this book!!!

I cannot wait to hear Maretti's storyline with all the deaths of his wives and children. From Luca's book, I wouldn't think that Maretti had a love interest. but I cannot wait to hear it!
