Love!

I love this book. Even if it made me cry. Looking forward to reading Queen’s Bargain next month.

Content

I'm happy and content with the way Anne Bishop concluded the saga. I don't think I have cried this much listening to a book before. First story takes place after the spooky house. Second one takes place ten years after that. The last one (and the best one) spans a whole lot of years. Thank you John Sharian for such an outstanding performance!

The last story is the best

Nice, but not too exciting in the beginning. The last story makes up for it though. Anne Bishop takes us through the end of the saga which is very satisfying.

Emotional high

This story has so many highs and low that you are feeling like your riding a roller coaster. Set back and relax and ride the Twilight dawn wind

Skip this one.

This is the first book in the series that I wish I had skipped. The stories were sad and frustrating. If you like a nice conclusion to the black jewels books don't go past Tangled Webs.

Enchanting end to a solid series of novels

What did you love best about Twilight's Dawn?

All of the mini stories not only filled in many of the details between previous novels, but provided a heartwarming end to lives spanning decades. While you know there is bound to be hardships within the realities of the main characters, this provides a necessary end to wrap up all of the main story lines.

What does John Sharian bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love that in this novel John Sharian returns to using Jaenelle's voice without the lilting accent that I didn't like in a few of the previous novels.

Anne Manages to do it Yet Again.

Where does Twilight's Dawn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Twilight's Dawn definitely ranks among the top audiobooks. I love revisiting these characters over and over.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved having another book of novellas for the realm of the Black Jewels. I realize that a lot of it is fluff and the true story was told long ago, but it's nice seeing some of the gaps filled in.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite would probably have to either be when Daemon brings justice to Falonar in Hell, or the very end scene.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Jaenelle Saetien received Twilight's Dawn, and Daemon got to speak to his lady just one last time.

Any additional comments?

I love revisiting these characters over and over. I've bought the books, and I've bought the audiobooks since I don't have a lot of time to actually sit and read these days.

the book was great

The book was great and best of all the voice actor, John Sharian, did not do his terrible Irish / Scottish Jenelle accent (seriously when he does it every inflection is like Scotty complaining that he can't give the Enterprise more power!) I had to skip some of the books he narrated and cringe every time I heard that accent when listening to other books like Shaldores Lady. it would have been terrible to not get to enjoy this final story so I thank whoever made the decision to go back to the normal accent. Honestly his performance as Jenelle is much better and fit her well.
