Resumen del Editor

All his other Harem brothers have found their one true love, and they are spectacular princesses.

Not Valor’s girl. Veila is the definition of evil.

Not the kind of girl for whom a guy falls. Especially a stand-up guy like Valor. He’s not interested in her sexy glow, her pretty hair, or her glowing eyes.

No. Valor only wants one thing for his fated princess.

Death.

But it’s kind of hard to kill someone you’ve been genetically engineered to love. And Veila not only has total control over him, but also Harem Station. The only way Valor can get Harem Station back is to use the soul-mate bond against her.

Valor has to make Veila believe their bond is true, that his feelings are real, and that he is willing to sell out his brothers, hand over all of Harem Station’s secrets, and leave his old life behind to help her get what she wants. But it’s never going to happen. Valor will never love Veila.

Ever.

He’d rather die trying to kill her than spend one moment as her puppet king. There’s just one problem.

The soul-mate bond goes both ways.

Veiled Vixen features an army of pissed-off princesses, five brothers facing their past, a station filled with ruthless, rebelling outlaws, and a lesson in what matters. It’s a love story about revenge, and hate, and regrets - but also forgiveness, loyalty, family, and having the courage to see the truth behind the veil.

Includes a special bonus note from the author.

Almost the end

So…one more book left to wrap up Harem Station. Hopefully, Julie will come back to Harem again sometime. I can’t imagine how a lot of these loose ends are going to be tied up in the last book.

Veiled Vixen was a great story. So much happened. I loved the Valor character a lot. Primarily this book is done from Valor’s POV. Normally, I don’t care for getting only one side of a story but this was the right approach for this book.

I’ve only ever heard Jason Clark do more regular romance but he was Valor in this story. He was a good choice for this book and it was interesting to see him do a sci fi romance. I liked the change up and he did an amazing job.

Shane East did all the 3rd person AI”s which were called Interludes. Normally, again usually not a fan of 3rd person but perfect for this story. Shane is such a good story teller no matter what person he’s doing it in though, ha.

Good But Not Much Of A Romance

I liked this book and the characters felt real but I wouldn't call it a romance because the focus wasn't on the relationship between Valor and Veila. Instead, this book serves mostly as a "what happened during the events of the last book" catch-up for the guys on Harem Station and chess pieces in the form of AIs moving around the "board" to set up for their new position in the next book. Which is another thing to mention... this book leaves everyone on a cliffhanger.

Epic story

At the beginning was a lot of information to piece together and try to make since of. If you aren’t into space talk or if you haven’t read the other books first, the space talk may loose you. I had to replay a few parts.
Other than that
EPIC STORY
UNFINISHED ENDING

My favorite

So.. have read a couple of reviews saying this book was boring and complaining about lack of sex scenes. For me though Valor is my favorite brother. Not super charming or funny or even rough in that good way. He would be the one I’d choose though. Loyal, thoughtful and deep. This book is a wrap up of some of the things from previous books and introduces some drama coming up. It’s also a story of a really good guy. Worth the credit in my opinion. AND, the narrater, wow.. just wow what a voice and made me really “hear” the story if that makes any sense.

VV (bws)

Enjoyed very much. Was easier to get through than PP. I didn’t notice until you mentioned in end comments about no sex scenes. Book stood on its own without and didn’t require them.

Never in a million years!!

Did I think I would fall so I’m love with Si-Fi romance but this entire serious is so interesting and complex and fabulously written that there was no way not to!! Veiled Vixen was a little different from the others and if you didn’t pay attention from the very beginning you might get a little lost, I cannot wait for the 6th book and honestly hope it won’t be the last..I still have so many questions!!!! Another extraordinary read from this multitalented writer!!!

Welcome to the final war!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜🤎❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: 🫢😤😡😊🥰

The heroine: Veila?? - The evil fake silver Cygnian princess. She wants to start up the breeding program between the Akeelian males and the Cygnian princesses. Starting with her. She has done some horrible things and has had an evil agenda for many years.

The Hero: Valor - Valor was Luck’s partner for years and spent that time traveling through the universe sort of like Indiana Jones. He also was with Luck in every way. Then we saw a lot of Luck in Prison Princess after he started helping out Tray and they spent thousands of years living in a virtual paradise together in an MMF relationship with Brigid.

The Story: After Valor was left in space by Veila when Tray made a deal with her, she got away and knowing that Valor had a tracker on him, she picked up his sleeping pod and hightailed it to Harem Station which has been at war. Baby ALCOR is on Veila’s side and disabled the defenses so she wasn’t blown out of the sky. Valor is awakened to find Veila has tortured a few of his friends and needs Valor to talk Luck into surrendering.

I loved the last book, Prison Princess because we found out so much about what is going on in this world. Though it also made me sad in so many ways. We found out that some of these characters are so much more than human, there are A.I.’s and sentient ships and sentient bots and they used to be people and though I liked the fact that their minds and souls can live on as a ship or a war-borg or a sex bot, the fact that they aren’t real people anymore made me so sad.

This one bothered me so much at first because Valor was immediately attracted to Veila because she was his fated mate. It was grossing me out because she had literally just threatened to kill millions of people. So it was pissing me off and I had to take a bit of a break before continuing the book. Though I knew I would because I really, really wanted to find out what happens in this world.

The story was told in multiple points of view and the narration was done by Jason Clarke and Shane East, Veila did not have a point of view. These are two of my favorite narrators and they are awesome. The book was good as expected and I like that the storylines are complex, but these were really complex and involved. I didn’t always like what was happening, like brother against brother. People who are killed but not, ALCOR’s past, baby drama and more.

So much but so good

Hers is a brilliant writer. I’ve been reading her books all of 2021 and I love her so much. Her Casey cross books are just as good. I had to take a break from her books because she has so much detail so much world building and so much going on that sometimes the books can get a bit heavy. I’m glad that I came back to finish this beautiful story. It was worth the read.
