Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Rachel Gibson returns to Truly, Idaho, and to the fate of sexy SEAL Blake Junger.

Gimmee a B-R-E-A-K!

Ex-high school cheerleader Natalie Cooper could once shake her pom-poms with the best of them. But she's paid for all that popularity: her husband's run off with what's left of their money and a 20-year-old bimbo named Tiffany. Leaving Natalie to manage a photo store and having to see some pictures she, well, really shouldn't.

Gimmee a S-H-O-T!

Then she comes toe-to-manly chest with Blake Junger. Exiled to a remote cabin in Truly, Idaho, Blake wants nothing to do with anyone. Instead, he's determined to struggle with his demons and win - all on his own. But the last thing he needs is Natalie distracting him with her luscious curves and breaking down the barriers of his heart.

Gimmee your H-E-A-R-T!

Good old love story

This book was predictable but a good story overall. Love and fear of new things.

Perfect.

Rachel Gibson is the best. Nobody writes better romantic comedies. Love her smart and funny but meaningful style. I reread her books often and love this series.

Sudden ending

I felt like the ending was very abrupt. Especially when compared to her other books. I am a bit thrown because it ended so quickly and I still have questions about some of the characters. Hmmm... That is why I gave the book three stars instead of four stars.

Wished it were better

Would you try another book from Rachel Gibson and/or Emma Bates?

Yes, I like her narration. It's clean, dry and she moves from voice to voice effortlessly.

Would you ever listen to anything by Rachel Gibson again?

Absolutely. I have downloaded all her audios. I wish audible would release more.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

More coupling character development. There just wasn't enough sizzle there.

Any additional comments?

While I was not a huge fan of this audio, it has some pluses. The characters from truly, Idaho are entertaining. The story worked- it just wasn't great. Rachel Gibson has set the bar pretty high so when she's nails a story, she nails it! This was not great but good enough.

Abrupt ending

If you’ve listened to books by Rachel Gibson before, how does this one compare?

I like Rachel Gibson's writing style and have listened to all her audiobooks. I enjoyed this book. The story was cute, simple and true to style. It was not special nor one of her best and the ending was abrupt.
