Unforgettable! One of a kind! Amazing!

Narrated beautifully by the author. She has created a work so powerful, and unforgettable that 25 yrs after my first listen I am still spellbound. I have read the full book at least 5 times. I have listened to this shorter audio verson at least 10+ times. First at age 23, then at 30, then at 45. Each time I get deeper layers of insight, wisdom and empowerment. Not to mention sheer enjoyment. It enriches my appreciation of being both wild and feminine in their truest sense. It speaks to all women, of all backgrounds, ages, etc (I happen to be African-American). A book (in audio and print) I will always have to reread and/or rehear many, many more times. Thank you so much Dr. Estes. Thanks Audible as well for having it available in your selection.

Thought provoking. Soul food. Time well spent. This book reintroduced me to myself. My authentic self thirst was quenched. Amazing!

Best read of 2018

Breathtaking. Best read of 2018 thus far.This book truly spoke to me and was so wonderfully narrated. I recommend it to any woman but also to any man who wants a better understanding of their mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend or wife.

A beautiful audio journey

There are few authors I've come across that can narrate their story as beautifully and vividly as Clarissa. I was enchanted with every word, sound and story and have already told most females in my circle to listen to it if they haven't already.

It's a beautiful book that reminds me of reclaiming my innate power as a woman, through all the story archetypes.

Can you tell I highly recommend this? Going on a solo road-trip my femme friend? What are you waiting for? You need to listen to this!

I really liked this. It made me think about things differently. If you don't go into it with an open mind, it might seem nonsense so take the time to just let it sink in instead of putting up a wall to block the message. It's basically about being true to yourself.

Loved this book

listening to this book made me feel young and imaginative. like I was listening to a story about my life and how things happened and how to fix it. It was like listening to a Disney story without the cliches. the narrator was phenomenal and made it really interesting
