A Bit Cheesy but Great too

I loved this book. I would like for the author to ease up on the way she describes her sex scenes. The words are more of a Mans way of portraying a sexual encounter than a womans.

Gave me chills

From the 1st page this story grips you.
How evil some are.
The whodunit really only unravels at the end but the why and the how are progressively disclosed if you pay close attention to the details.
Ms Rose is a master writer in the field of Romance suspense( thriller) genre. She spooks me with her storylines yet I can't get enough.
I'm on my 2nd read through of all her books. It is for me a Highly recommend 5* rating.

awesome story!

listened to this within 24hrs, it was that good. The book was way shorter than a lot of karen roses other books, but still great! I hate saying goodbye to her characters, I fall in love with them and that's why I adore how most of her books tie together and mention past characters in New books. And this narrator was REMARKABLE! She did so many different types of voices and accents with different inflections, she's my new favorite. (which is sorta heart breaking because in the beginning of this book there was a dedication to her, so I assume she passed ) Thanks Karen, for another beautiful story.

I enjoyed the book

I really enjoyed the book. I felt like the narrator could have not tried to do the make voices, but it didn't bother me enough to stop listening. The story was intriguing, kept me wishing I could just sit and listen all day till I finished.

Intense Romantic Suspense

This is a gripping, well-written thriller that kept me listening raptly. I had a suspicion as to who the killer was throughout most of the story, but something would come up to cause doubt. I won't tell you if I was right or not, only that it was a satisfying ending.

I highly recommend this book and series.

Lazy Writing. Stigmatizes people with mental illness

Lack of research is not acceptable when writing a medical/psychological thriller. The author, clueless about mental illness and too lazy to research it, wrote a novel that should be titled "Mental Illness Stigma For Dummies".
"Schizophrenia" was the explanation offered for the sadistic conniving behavior of the novel's antagonist. Newsflash: that's sociopathy (anti-social personality disorder), a personality disorder, not a mental illness.A patient with
schizophrenia would be too ill to plan out such elaborate diabolical schemes.
