About this listen

Olivia Rowland leaves her Midwestern life behind after graduating from college and heads off to Los Angeles to work for a Hollywood talent agent. Life in L.A. is a culture shock, but nothing compared to the jolt she gets when Max enters her life.

Max Dalton is Hollywood's youngest and brightest movie producer/director/writer. He's wealthy, successful, hot, and there's never a shortage of women throwing themselves at him, but there's only one woman he wants, and he intends to make it happen.

As Max pursues Olivia, he finds that she presents a whole new challenge for him. When Olivia finally gives in, the stage is set for a perilous, yet passionate relationship. Together they discover each other's deepest desires, and darkest secrets.

Critic reviews

"The Fade Into series is short, sexy, and to the point. The sexual connection between Olivia and Max is graphic and titillating, and he is definitely a character that will have women lusting long after they have finished the series." (Dr. Laura Berman)

Just average

Would you try another book from Kate Dawes and/or Tanya Eby?

No probably not. To me it was just a boring story with sex thrown in (that was nothing special either). I did not like the narrators male voice either. So based on the book I don't think I'm interested in Kate Dawes books. The only way I'd consider another one of her books is if one of the reviewers I follow gives another book she has written a very good review.

Would you recommend Fade to your friends? Why or why not?

No, I prefer books that grab my attention. This one was predictable with no excitement. So I don't think it's worth the credit and I wouldn't buy this one on sale.

Any additional comments?

I would look for another selection. In my opinion this is not one I'd want in my library.
