The master at his scarifying best! From heart-pounding terror to the eeriest of whimsy - tales from the outer limits of one of the greatest imaginations of our time! Trucks that punish and beautiful teen demons who seduce a young man to massacre; curses whose malevolence grows through the years; obscene presences and angels of grace - here, indeed, is a night-blooming bouquet of chills and thrills.

Story
As a child, you were abducted from your home by an organization known only as "The Brotherhood". Your past was taken from you. Your name, erased. The Brotherhood trained you in the arts of power and deception, and you seemed destined to become one of their finest operatives. Then you learned the truth. The Brotherhood planned not to guide mankind along the paths of enlightenment, but instead to remake the world in their own image. So you fled, and swore to stop them by any means necessary.

RUN LOGAN RUN
THIS IS A SUPERB RADIO DRAMATIZATION OF WILLIAM F. NOLAN'S FABULOUS NOVEL LOGAN'S RUN. THE BOOK IS EASILY ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SCIENCE FICTION NOVELS AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING AND OR LISTENING TO THE SOURCE MATERIAL. THERE IS AN EXCELLENT READING OF THE NOVEL AVAILABLE AT AUDIBLE.COM. THIS VERSION IS AN EXCELLENT ADAPTATION, AND HAS ALL THE FLAVOR AND EXCITEMENT OF THE SOURCE MATERIAL, AND IS WELL ACTED WITH WONDERFUL SOUND EFFECTS TO BRING EVERYTHING YOU HEAR TO LIFE. GOOD STUFF.

Logan's Run - Last Day
if the upcoming movie is as well paced and thought out as this radio show, then we are in for one hell of a ride!
... Of course, there were some twists that I was completely surprised by, but the writer was savvy enough to draw from all 3 novellas to create a single well-thought-out storyline which did a great deal to explain the nuances of the original WFN concepts and integrate our current levels of technology into them to increase the plausibility factor significantly.
Final notes: Get this, you will not be disappointed!

Just OK
This book is a little dark, particularly its emphasis on death, and the future of mankind. The premise is interesting and the dramatization by the Colonial Radio Players is first rate (as always), I feel that much of the story about Logan and Jessica 6, that you see in the movie is not emphasized. But maybe the novel is much better. This book was just a little to dark for me. I would give in 3 1/2 stars. Maybe if it had been a little longer and the characterization more developed by the authors, it would be better.
Overall, it a quick listen, and you get you money's worth...!!

Jerry
The brief glimpse into the background of the world of Logan's Run was appreciated but the characters were average and had no depth.

Poorly Produced
Overly abridged with poor performances. Badly scripted and feels everything is rushed. One minute Jessica hates Logan next she loves him with nothing identifying why she would change her mind. Actors sound bored. It runs too short at 1.5 hours which also seems to me to be the same amount of time spent on producing it.

Not at all like I expected.
Would you try another book from Paul J. Salamoff and/or the narrators?
Probably not.
What could Paul J. Salamoff have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I was expecting it to be like the book I read years ago. This seems like 4 or 5 books you have to buy to get most of the original book.
What didn’t you like about the narrators’s performance?
Not sure.
What character would you cut from William F. Nolan’s Logan's Run - Last Day?
Not sure.
Any additional comments?
No.
