  • Teen Talk (Season 2 After Show)
    Apr 9 2024

Back for another special post-season after show, the Dad Crew sits down to talk through the season two finale, how it came together cleaner than the season one finale, the giant scissors Matt actually bought during the recording, and how the teenage motif fit into the pressure everyone felt after the first season.

Plus composer Maxton Waller stops by to talk about the marching band version of the season two theme song and they answer some questions about the most memorable records and everyone's favorite intros from the second season.

Thanks so much for listening and supporting us this season! Stay tuned for some very exciting new developments, including Will taking the DM reigns for a while!

My favorite podcast

Season one of this podcast is funny, heartwarming, and clever. I really appreciate the fact that they edit down the podcast so, unlike other D&D podcasts/shows, there is not a lot of wasted time waiting around to see what people are going to do.

Dungeons and Daddies is my favorite podcast. I listen to the episodes and the Talking Dads episodes (available on their Patreon) daily. The Patreon is totally worth subscribing to. They work so hard to give so much bonus content.

Improv better than most tv shows

The inprov is ineffable and is funnier than most tv shows. The writer strike can keep going if these people can make better content in the fly. Also, great performance!

(still conviced it is a bdsm podcast)

I never write reviews…

I have only ever left star ratings for things I listen to on Audible and have never written a review before. This podcast absolutely deserves 5-stars.

As someone who is interested in, but knows very little about D&D, I wanted to find a way to learn more about it without committing to a group game. Although they don’t totally follow game mechanics (or so I’m told), it was a great introduction to D&D.

Despite the D&D aspect, I absolutely adore the cast and characters. I cannot express my love for them enough. I laugh constantly, I’ve even been brought to tears by the emotional twists that DM Anthony provides. They are phenomenal in their authenticity.

At time of review, I’m only on episode 28, but am entirely invested. Very well done. Entertaining, hilarious, & rowdy.

Tons of fun

I had to make a huge roadtrip where there would be very little cellphone coverage. So, I downloaded a bunch of episodes, I've never been a fan of Podcasts but I thought it would help pass the time. I got totally addicted, went through the first season in a week, and have been following ever since. Fun story, cool characters and performers, really funny, it's a total win. Highly recommended!
