Perpetuating hate

I wish I could Finnish it but, Perpetuating a race of people as the enemy is hate, I understand evil was done to people on mass, and I don’t believe hiding it is helpful, but nor is pushing it into the limelight as all people who were white did not help or try…John Woolman, William Lloyd Garrison, Anne Knight, all people who did there best to make slavery seen as what it was evil. This podcast is not helping it’s causing people to think of whites as evil. No hate from me but I can’t continue this book…

Fiction based on hard truths

It’s unfortunate but, intelligent people have to learn from the mistakes of the past, not hide from them or hide those sad truths. Like Tulsa OK and the burning of Black Wall Street. Its too close to ignore it. It’s angering but it’s educational too. I let my 16 year old listen with me; it took a couple of weeks but it gave us time to delve into all aspects of the story. I won’t say I liked it, but then too, it’s not meant to be liked. It was interesting; an intriguing historical sci-fi listen.

Dictionary.com defines ‘woke’:

having or marked by an active awareness of systemic injustices and prejudices, especially those involving the treatment of ethnic, racial, or sexual minorities. Yes please!
