Timely and important

An excellent podcast that captures not only what was happening in 1984, but also what is happening in 2023. One can only hope that we learn lessons from our history

History is alive

Vigilante does a great job of taking us back into the moral debates raging 40 years ago — and explaining how those debates are still echoing today. Great show, well worth your time!

Old Story but yet still relevant

I remember when this happened in NYC and amazingly still relevant now. The media played a huge part in the misinformation being disiminated yet zero accountability

Another excellent podcast

Very insightful and timely review of a piece of history that once again illustrates why we are where we are today. It saddens me how much fear plays into our sense of humanity.

Excellent as always

Leon Neyfakh always manages to contextualize historical events in a way that is balanced and relevant. This is the standard to which all audio journalism should be held — provocative, insightful and required listening.

An Open Eye Historical Documentary

An great narration of the events with a deep study of the characters. It made me think about our present moment. I want my friends to listen to it so we can talk about it. Excellent resource for law students and criminal law professionals.

Really don’t know

I am surprised that the grand jury made a decision so fast. But I understand what happened and…..
