Surprisingly good

When I started listening to this I was just thinking it might be a good book to bridge the gap until something better came along, but as I listened I was hooked quickly. I loved the twists and turns the story took. It makes you think what could happen if all that we knew ended. The sweet love story that runs through the story had my heart swelling. I sure hope there will be more episodes to come out in this podcast. I want to k is more.

Dark, Funny, and Full of Twist

I'm so engrossed in this story. I usually hate these type of stories, but reading is all about how you're feeling and if the book can keep you listening. This is one of the few dystopian type stories that has captured my attention.  This is exactly what I think would happen if the world ended. The characters are not perfectly good or completely bad. They are human. We are a little bit of everything and you see that in this story. The sweet girl isnt always so sweet. The fierce cannot always be fierce. And even in times of death, people will always desire two things: Power and Love.

This is NOT, I repeat NOT for children. If you have ANY triggers, then just avoid this because it has everything. It has gore, sex, and honesty.

I loved the dark humor. And it is dark 🖤😈 it is a serious topic without the story being so dreary and depressing. I liked the way the story was told through the eyes of the lovers. The pace is perfect and the author tells us what happened without having to add hours of  backstory. I enjoyed the narration as well.

I hope #3 is not the last installment 😰. What happens? I need to know!!!
